"La Respuesta" () is a song by American singer Becky G and Colombian singer Maluma. It was released by Kemosabe Records, RCA Records and Sony Music Latin on April 19, 2019. The track was written by Gomez, Maluma and it is produced by Edgar Barrera, and co-produced by Luis Barrera Jr. and Daniel Buitrago. It is a reggaeton song about female empowerment and breaking gender stereotypes. The accompanying music video was directed by Daniel Duran. The song was originally released as a single from Gomez's debut studio album ''Mala Santa'' but was ultimately scrapped. Background Gomez stated that the song is "about breaking free from stereotypes", and she hopes that it "serves to empower young women". It is Gomez and Maluma's second collaboration, following the remix of "Mala Mía" released in 2018. It was characterized as a "power anthem about breaking stereotypes". Rebbeca Marie Gomez (born March 2, 1997), known professionally as Becky G, is an American singer and actress. She first gained recognition in 2011 when she began posting videos of herself covering popular songs online. One of her videos caught the attention of producer Dr. Luke, who subsequently offered her a joint record deal with Kemosabe Records and RCA Records. While working on her debut effort, Gomez collaborated with artists will.i.am, Cody Simpson and Cher Lloyd. Her official debut single, "Becky from the Block", released in 2013, received a positive reception upon its release. She released her debut extended play, ''Play It Again'' later that same year. Kiss FM is a Top40/Hit Radio station from Romania, owned by ANT1 Group. The station was rebranded from the old Radio Contact, after being purchased by a Belgian radio network. Multiple record charts have been inaugurated in Romania since the 1990s. The Romanian Top 100 was the country's national chart until 2012. Founded in 1995, it was a ranking based on the compilation of charts submitted by local Romanian radio stations. The Romanian Top 100 was published weekly and was also announced during a radio show starting in 1998. Compilation of the list was first handled by Body M Production A-V, followed by Media Forest. In the 2010s, the chart was announced during a podcast on Kiss FM, but the broadcast ended in February 2012.
