Plot Starting in the Summer of 1492, the plot shows the mishaps of the common folk (two Vagrancy, vagrants, Bartolomé and Ruy, respectively a Barbary slave trade, man freed from captivity in Sultanate of Tunis, Tunis and a Desertion, desertor from the Granada War accompanied by a Pig, sow) living badly in the Crown of Castile, seeking to embark on a caravel in the harbor of Palos de la Frontera, Palos. José Luis Cuerda Martínez (18 February 19474 February 2020) was a Spanish film director, screenwriter and Film producer, producer. He was born in Albacete and died on 4 February 2020 at the age of 72 in Madrid from an embolism. Caravel
The caravel (Portuguese: , ) is a small maneuverable sailing ship used in the 15th century by the Portuguese to explore along the West African coast and into the Atlantic Ocean. The lateen sails gave it speed and the capacity for sailing windward (beating). Veruela Abbey
Veruela Abbey ( es, Real Monasterio de Santa María de Veruela, or "The Royal Monastery of Santa María de Veruela") is a Cistercian abbey dating from the 12th century. It is situated near Vera de Moncayo, in Zaragoza province, Spain. It was founded in 1146 by Pedro de Atarés. History The monastery and church, forming one edifice, were founded in 1146 by Pedro de Atarés, to whom the Blessed Virgin appeared, and whom She directed to discover a hidden statue of herself, which was placed in the monastery chapel, where it is still venerated. ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''.
