La Femme Desperado
''La Femme Desperado'' (Traditional Chinese: 女人唔易做) is a TVB modern drama series broadcast in April 2006. The series contains many realistic elements relating to the life of a woman in today's modern society, particularly in Hong Kong. It was considered to be a favourite among audiences, ranking number 1 in audience ratings for TVB series that year. It was widely praised by critics and audiences for its acting, writing and character development. It won the TVB Anniversary Award for Best Drama Series in 2006. Melissa Ng
Melissa Ng Mei-hang (born 5 May 1972) is a retired American Hong Kong television actress born in China. She had been under contract to the television station TVB since 1996 after coming second in the Miss Chinese International Pageant, retiring from acting in 2007. Derek Kok
Derek Kok Jing-hung (, born 18 November 1964) is a Hong Kong actor who had worked for TVB from 1986 to 2015. He filmed over 70 dramas. He is specialised in action and Chinese Kung Fu performance. Career His career started when he entered the New Talent Singing Awards in 1985. Even though he only made it through to the semi-finals, his stage performance, including the acrobatics he demonstrated throughout his performance impressed the folks at TVB. He then entered the TVB Artiste Training Class in 1985 and was signed with the station after completion of the program. The first notable role he played was Lee Yuen Ba in The Grand Canal.
