La Femme (simplified Chinese: 绝对佳人; previously known as 女人当自强) is a Singaporean Chinese language, Chinese modern family drama mainly emphasizing on the lives of three women of different traits. It was telecasted on Singapore's free-to-air channel, Channel 8 (Singaporean TV channel), MediaCorp Channel 8. It made its debut on 2 June 2008 and ended on 4 July 2008. Zoe Tay
Zoe Tay (; born 10 January 1968) is a Singaporean actress and former model. She has been referred to as the "Queen of Caldecott Hill" and "Ah Jie" (Top Actress) by the local media since the rise of her popularity in the 1990s. She is one of the first batch of actors to receive the Star Awards All-Time Favourite Artiste award, along with Li Nanxing and Chew Chor Meng. Yao Wenlong (, born 14 November 1970) is a Singapore based Malaysian actor. Career Yao entered the local television scene after winning the Star Search 1993 (Male category) organised by then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now MediaCorp). Star Awards For Young Talent
The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. The star was subsequently removed and the trophy is designed as a S shaped column, depicting the star. History The 1st Star Awards presentation was held on 26 February 1994, took place at the Caldecott Broadcast Centre, MediaCorp TV Theatre with an audience of about 500 people. Star Awards 2009 (Chinese: 红星大奖 2009) was a television award ceremony held in Singapore. It was part of the annual Star Awards organised by MediaCorp for its Chinese language division ( Channel 8 and Channel U). The awards took place at 26 April 2009 starting at 7pm at MediaCorp Studios, followed by a post-show party airing on Channel U after the ceremony ended. Nat Ho
Nathaniel "Nat" Ho (, born 23 August 1984) is a Singaporean actor and singer. Career Ho was originally one of the Top 30 contestants in the inaugural season of Singapore Idol in 2004. He was also awarded the 'Most Promising Artiste' in 2004, by the Singapore Armed Forces Music and Drama Company. One of his first acting roles was in the Channel 5 drama '' Shooting Stars''. Paige Chua Qi Hui (; born 25 June 1981) is a Singaporean actress. Early life Chua was born in Singapore on 25 June 1981. She attended Mayflower Secondary School and Serangoon Junior College before graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts. Beach
A beach is a landform alongside a body of water which consists of loose particles. The particles composing a beach are typically made from rock, such as sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles, etc., or biological sources, such as mollusc shells or coralline algae.
