Gerardo Vera Perales (10 March 194720 September 2020) was a Spanish costume and set designer, opera director, actor, and film and theatre director. Life Vera was born in Miraflores de la Sierra on 10 March 1947. He studied English language and literature in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and theatre in the University of Exeter. He was the director of the Centro Dramático Nacional (national theatre of Spain) from June 2004 to December 2011. Anna Lizaran (31 August 1944 – 12 January 2013) was a Catalan actress of stage, film and television. Biography Early life Lizaran's father was a mechanic and her mother a dressmaker. She showed enormous interest in the theatre when she was a child and studied theatre in the Centre d'Estudis Experimentals of Barcelona and was one of the first members of Els Comediants. Nuevo Baztán
Nuevo Baztán is a municipality southeast of Madrid, near Alcalá de Henares, Spain. It consists of a small historic centre and modern housing estates. The historic centre was designed as an industrial and housing complex laid out on a grid plan. It was promoted and developed by the prominent politician and publisher Juan de Goyeneche (1656–1735). History Nuevo Baztán was founded around 1709 in a mercantalist initiative to promote industrial development in Spain. The site chosen belonged to a locality called Olmeda. The name of the new development refers to the Goyeneche family's home town, Baztan in Navarre. Much of the construction was performed by Agotes imported from Navarre.
