La Boum 2
''La Boum 2'' is a 1982 French teen romantic comedy film directed by Claude Pinoteau and starring Claude Brasseur, Brigitte Fossey, and Sophie Marceau. Written by Danièle Thompson and Claude Pinoteau, the film is about a girl who falls in love with a boy and must deal with the question of making love for the first time. ''La Boum 2'' is the sequel to 1980's ''La Boum'' (''The Party''). The music group Cook da Books became famous in many countries through their soundtrack song "Your Eyes". Like its predecessor, ''La Boum 2'' was a financial success, earning 4,071,600 admissions in France. In 1983, the film received the César Award for Most Promising Actress (Sophie Marceau), and was nominated for Best Music (Vladimir Cosma) and Best Supporting Actress (Denise Grey). Claude Pinoteau (25 May 1925 – 5 October 2012) was a French film director and scriptwriter. Born in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts de Seine, Île-de-France, France. He died in Neuilly-sur-Seine, aged 87. Pierre Cosso
Pierre Cosso, born Pierre-Alexandre Cosso (24 September 1961 in Algiers), is a French actor and singer-songwriter. Career Cosso's first film was the popular teen comedy-drama ''La Boum 2'' (1982), in which he played Sophie Marceau's boyfriend. In the following years, he worked as an actor in film productions in France, Italy and the United States. During that time in the 1980s, he achieved a considerable status as a teen idol in many parts of Europe. Among his most successful roles was the part of ''Mizio'' in the romantic comedy ''Cinderella '80'' (1984). Cosso continued his acting career after the 1980s. Paul David Hudson (born 27 February 1971) is an English weather presenter for BBC Yorkshire and BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Hudson was born and raised in Keighley, West Yorkshire. He was made an Honorary Fellow of Bradford College in 2014.
