"LaLaLa" is a song by South African DJ Black Coffee and American singer Usher. It is the first collaboration between the two. In 2018, they appeared together for the first time at the Global Citizen Festival. Black Coffee had briefly published segments of the song in December 2018 on his Instagram page. Usher Raymond IV (born October 14, 1978) is an American R&B singer. He was born in Dallas, Texas, but raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, until moving to Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of 12, his mother put him in local singing competitions before catching the attention of a music A&R from LaFace Records. He released his self-titled debut album '' Usher'' (1994), and rose to fame in the late 1990s with the release of his second album ''My Way'' (1997). Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo (born 11 March 1976), better known by his stage name Black Coffee, is a South African DJ, record producer and songwriter. Coffee established his own record label Soulistic Music, and released his debut self-titled album ''Black Coffee'' (2005), which incorporated elements of R&B and jazz. His career began around 1994 and became prominent after participating in the 2004 Red Bull Music Academy, since then he has released nine studio albums, as well as a live DVD.
