LSXX Tour
The LSXX Tour was a series of sixty concerts by the Breeders in 2013 to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the release of their 1993 album ''Last Splash''. Background In the early 1990s, Kim Deal was a member of both the Breeders and Pixies (band), the Pixies; the latter broke up in 1993. When the Breeders released their second album ''Last Splash'' that same year—on 4AD Records—the group consisted of Kim and her twin sister Kelley Deal on guitar and vocals, Jim Macpherson on drums, and Josephine Wiggs on bass and vocals. The album sold well, reaching platinum status in the USA, and gold or silver in France, Australia, Canada, and the UK. Between 1992 and September 1994, the Breeders had an intense schedule including touring and recording, and by autumn 1994 most of the band members were tired. During the Lollapalooza tour in summer 1994, Deal mentioned to those around her that she wanted her next project to be solo, "something quick and dirty, under the radar ... wit ...

The Breeders
The Breeders are an American alternative rock band based in Dayton, Ohio, consisting of members Kim Deal (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), her twin sister Kelley Deal (lead guitar, vocals), Josephine Wiggs (bass guitar, vocals) and Jim Macpherson (drums). The earliest incarnation of the band was formed by Kim Deal and Tanya Donelly in 1989 as a side-project alongside their full-time bands Pixies and Throwing Muses respectively. To record their debut album, 1990's '' Pod'', Deal and Donelly recruited bassist Josephine Wiggs of The Perfect Disaster and drummer Britt Walford of Slint. Kim's sister Kelley was brought into the band as a third guitarist (though at the time, Kelley famously had never played guitar before joining the band) in 1992 to record the '' Safari'' EP, and shortly thereafter Tanya Donelly left to concentrate full-time on her own new band, Belly, leaving Kelley Deal as the sole lead guitarist, while Britt Walford left as well around the same time. Title TK (album)
''Title TK'' is the third studio album by American alternative rock band the Breeders, released on May 20 and 21, 2002 by 4AD in the United Kingdom and Elektra Records in the United States, and on May 10 by P-Vine Records in Japan. The album—whose name means " title to come" in journalistic shorthand—generated three singles: "Off You", "Huffer", and "Son of Three". ''Title TK'' reached the top 100 in France, Germany, the UK, and Australia, and number 130 in the US. Following multiple changes in personnel after the release of ''Last Splash'' (1993), singer and songwriter Kim Deal was the only remaining constant member of the Breeders by 1996. The next year, she returned to the studio in an attempt to record a follow-up album, but her behavior—including drug use and demanding expectations—alienated many of the musicians and engineers with whom she worked. In 1999, joined by her sister Kelley, Deal began recording sessions with engineer Steve Albini in Chicago. Fear memb ...
