The LSU Lady Tigers cross country program represents Louisiana State University in the sport of women's cross country running. The program competes in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Dennis Shaver
Dennis Shaver is the current track and field coach at Louisiana State University. Shaver came to LSU in 1995 as an assistant coach. Since his arrival, he has coached 22 Olympians, 6 Olympic medalists, 411 All-Americans, 39 individual National Champions, 49 NCAA event titles and 19 national championship relay teams. He began his college coaching career at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas, in 1981 as an assistant football and track coach. In 1982, he became the head coach for the track team at Hutchinson Community College. He left Hutchinson in 1985 to become the head track coach at Barton Community College, where he had tremendous success. During his last year there, he became the first coach to ever win the NJCAA "triple crown" winning the cross-country, indoor, and outdoor titles. Highland Road Community Park
Highland Road Community Park or Highland Road Park, is a public park in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC) owns and operates the park. The park is the home course for the LSU Tigers cross country and LSU Lady Tigers cross country teams. Park amenities Baseball Fields Youth baseball and tee ball fields are located in the park. Khadevis Robinson
Khadevis Robinson (born July 19, 1976 in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American retired middle-distance runner and currently coaches both the men's and women's cross country teams along with being an assistant track coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Robinson specialized in the 800 metres with his personal best time being 1:43.68 minutes, which he achieved in August 2006 in Rieti. He is a four-time US champion, both outdoors and indoors. He has competed at seven consecutive editions of the World Championships in Athletics, from 1999 to 2011. The LSU Tigers track and field team represents LSU Tigers, Louisiana State University in National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA Division I (NCAA), Division I men's indoor and outdoor track and field.
