LPG (South Korean Band)
LPG (; an acronym for "Lovely Pretty Girls") was a South Korean girl group that debuted in 2005 under Chan2 Productions, inspired by the success of "semi-trot" singer Jang Yoon Jung. Their name showcases the fact that several of this group were pageant participants, with two of them having made it into the Miss Korea pageant. The group disbanded in 2016. History Debut Their first album, ''Long Pretty Girls'', was released in fall of 2005. Although most of the record consists of dance tracks, their first (and only) single from the album was called "캉캉 (Can Can)" a song performed in the " Can-can style". The novelty of the song brought them a lot of attention from the press, but neither the song nor the album were commercially popular. K-pop
K-pop (), short for Korean popular music, is a form of popular music originating in South Korea as part of South Korean culture. "We No Speak Americano" is a song by Australian band Yolanda Be Cool and producer DCUP. It was released on the independent Australian label Sweat It Out on 27 February 2010. The song samples the 1956 Italian song " Tu Vuò Fà L'Americano" in the Neapolitan language by Renato Carosone, written by Carosone and Nicola Salerno. "We No Speak Americano" became a hit in Europe, Australia, and Latin America (where the song is also known as ''Pa-Panamericano'') as well as a top 40 hit in the U.S. and Canada. The trot is a ten-beat diagonal horse gait where the diagonal pairs of legs move forward at the same time with a moment of suspension between each beat. Blackswan (Korean: 블랙스완; stylized as BLACKSWAN) are a South Korean-based multinational girl group formed by DR Music, with an admission and graduation concept. ''Star Golden Bell'' () was a South Korean variety show broadcast on KBS. A popular show, it occasionally entered the Korean top 20 chart. The show consisted of mini-games, which have certain prize amounts. The winning celebrity is given the opportunity to ring the bell by correctly answering a riddle. If he or she is correct, the money is donated in the winner's name. All "winnings" go to a charity of KBS's choice; the last donation, in the amount of $110,000, was made on July 1, 2008.
