''Luvin' You'' is the third album by One Voice. It is their most successful to date. The album took three years to make and it is their best reviewed album to date. It won a California Music Award nomination for Outstanding R&B Album. The album sold 150,000 copies and it earned them their second gold album in the Philippines. This is their only album with Straight Hits Entertainment. No singles were released from this album. One Voice (group)
One Voice (styled as One Vo1ce) is a Filipino-American R&B girl group that originated from Vallejo, California. The group is known for their 1999 single ''When U Think About Me''. Career 1996-98: Formation The girls of One Voice met while they were in elementary school. They originally started out as a quintet, which at the time included Aimee Castillo (no relation to Monica), and another original member named Lindsay Mangoba, but before anything was recorded she later left the group and was replaced by Melissa Ruiz. The girls eventually landed a record deal with Kamikaze Records (an independent label) in 1998, and contracted the talent of producer James Earley. 1999-2000: ''Just The Beginning'' Recording their debut album was tough. Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. ''Sincerely Yours'' is the second album by R&B group One Voice. The album was supposed to show their growth as artists, but was less successful than their debut album and received mixed reviews. Along with the album came a new sexy image. The album would only sell 20,000 copies in the United States and 25,000 copies in the Philippines where it only went silver.
