Lumon Arena
Lumon arena is an ice hockey arena located in Kouvola, Finland. The name of the Kouvolan jäähalli changed in 2015 as a continuation of the arena when KooKoo and Lumon entered into a co-operation agreement. Sports Lumon Arena is the home venue of the ice hockey team KooKoo. The arena has also been used for part of the IIHF European Junior Championships in 1987, there has also played a single Euro Hockey Tour match in 2016, where Finland and Czech Republic national teams were confronted. The Euro Hockey Tour (EHT) is an annual ice hockey tournament open to only the national men's teams of Czechia, Finland, Switzerland and Sweden. Most of the teams use the competition as a preparation for the upcoming World Championships or Olympics, allowing less experienced players to collect valuable ice time in their national colours. Euro Hockey Challenge
The Euro Hockey Challenge is a competition consisting of the 12 best European ice hockey teams. It has been held annually in April since 2011, preceding the World Ice Hockey Championships. Setup Each team plays six games during the tournament. Teams play each other twice in back-to-back games for one to two days. All games played count toward the final table. The teams are divided into three pools based on their placing in the IIHF World Ranking. The top four teams make up Pool A, the next six are part of Pool B, and the final two are placed in Pool C. Teams are awarded three points for a victory in regulation, two points for an overtime victory, and one point for an overtime loss. European Wrestling Championships
The European Wrestling Championships is the second oldest international wrestling competition of the modern world and the main wrestling championships in Europe. It predates World Wrestling Championships and other regional wrestling championships and is second only to the wrestling events at the Olympics. From its inception in 1898 till 1927 only Greco-Roman wrestling was contested. Since 1929 separate freestyle wrestling events were held as well. Since 1970 the two Olympic wrestling styles were contested together during the same unified events. The 2015–16 Korisliiga season was the 76th season of the top professional basketball league in Finland. The season started on October 3, 2015 and ended May 11, 2016. The 1987 IIHF European U18 Championship was the twentieth playing of the IIHF European Junior Championships. Group A Played April 3–12, 1987, in Tampere, Kouvola, and Hämeenlinna, Finland.
