Luke Burton (rugby League)
Luke Burton (born 17 February 1994) is an Australian rugby union player who currently plays for the LA Giltinis of Major League Rugby (MLR). He previously played for the San Diego Legion. He can play as either a fly-half or centre. He previously played for the Western Force in Super Rugby, Biarritz Olympique in France, and represented the Australia Under-20 in the 2013 IRB Junior World Championship and 2014 IRB Junior World Championship World Cups. Early life Burton was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia and represented his state at various age-group levels during his school days. His family immigrated to Australia from Cape Town, South Africa. Burton's family lineage sees both his cousins Jesse Kriel and Dan Kriel play professionally in South Africa and for the Springboks. The San Diego Legion is an American professional rugby union team based in San Diego, California. The team was founded in 2017 and competes in Major League Rugby. Home field The team plays at Snapdragon Stadium, which is located on the campus of the San Diego State University in Mission Valley and has a seating capacity of 35,000. The stadium is also the home of San Diego State Aztecs football and San Diego Wave FC. Due to the restrictions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the team temporarily relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, for the 2021 season. However, they would return to San Diego on April 12, 2021. 2014 IRB Junior World Championship
The 2014 IRB Junior World Championship was the seventh annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams. The event was organised in Auckland, New Zealand by rugby's governing body, World Rugby, then known as the International Rugby Board. A total of 12 nations took part in the tournament. England went into the tournament as defending champions, after winning the tournament for the first time in 2013. England went on to win the Championship for a second time in two years. While hosts New Zealand, the most successful team in the tournament, were looking to win the title for the first time since 2011. Italy were the champions of the 2013 IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy, thus being promoted to the Championship. Ma’a Nonu
Ma'a Allan Nonu (; born 21 May 1982) is a professional rugby union player from New Zealand who currently plays for the San Diego Legion in Major League Rugby (MLR). He plays in the inside centre, but can also cover outside centre and wing. Gonzalo Quesada
Gonzalo Quesada (born 2 May 1974) is a retired Argentine rugby player who presently works as a coach for Stade Français in France's Top 14. Biography Quesada was born May 2, 1974, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He played for amateur club Hindú alongside the Fernández Miranda brothers Nicolas and Juan. Quesada won 39 caps playing at fly-half for the Argentine rugby union side between 1996 and 2003. He made his test debut at the age of 22 against the United States on the 14th of September 1996, winning 29:26. Newlands (Nuweland) is an upmarket suburb of Cape Town, South Africa.
