Lukas Hinterseer
Lukas Hinterseer (born 28 March 1991) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Hansa Rostock. Born in Kitzbühel, Tyrol, Hinterseer began his career at local club FC Kitzbühel before signing for FC Wacker Innsbruck in 2008. After initially struggling to make the first team, he experienced a breakthrough in the 2013–14 season. His form earned him a move to German football, where he played for FC Ingolstadt, VfL Bochum, Hamburger SV, Hannover 96 and Hansa Rostock. Hinterseer made his senior debut for Austria in November 2013 after previously being capped by Austria youth teams at under-17, under-18 and under-19 levels. He was chosen in Austria's squad for the UEFA Euro 2016. FC Liefering GmbH is an Austrian association football club, originally from Liefering, a section of Salzburg. It currently plays in the Second League, the second tier of Austrian football. Since 2012, Liefering has been a reserve team for Austrian Football Bundesliga side FC Red Bull Salzburg. Ernst Hinterseer
Ernst Hinterseer (born 27 February 1932) is a retired alpine skier from Austria. He participated in the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo, placing sixth in the giant slalom. At the 1960 Winter Olympics he won a gold medal in the slalom, and bronze in the giant slalom. He was only a substitute for the slalom, and was trailing in fifth place after the first leg. Hinterseer won two national titles: in the giant slalom in 1954 and in a combined event in 1956. He became an "Austrian sportsman of the Year 1960" and in 1997 was awarded the "Goldenes Ehrenzeichen für Verdienste um die Republik Österreich" ("Order in gold of merit for services rendered to the Republic of Austria"). Hinterseer was born in a farmer's family. After World War II he started an apprenticeship as a carpenter, but focused on skiing after graduating from school.
