Luis And Clark
Luis and Clark, or L&C, is a small, family-run company that sells carbon fiber stringed instruments invented and designed by cellist Luis Leguía (Louie) of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Their line consists of a violin, viola, cello and double bass, and they have recently started producing half-sized cellos, with plans for a classical guitar currently in development. Carbon Fibers
Carbon fibers or carbon fibres (alternatively CF, graphite fiber or graphite fibre) are fibers about in diameter and composed mostly of carbon atoms. 2CELLOS (stylized 2CΞLLOS) were a Croatian cellist duo, consisting of classically trained cellists Luka Šulić and Stjepan Hauser. Signed to Sony Masterworks since 2011, they released six albums. They played instrumental arrangements of well-known pop and rock songs, as well as classical and film music. The duo performed internationally and were featured on several American television series including ''Glee'' and '' The Bachelor'' (Sean and Catherine's Wedding). Erik Friedlander is an American cellist and composer based in New York City. A veteran of New York City's experimental downtown scene, Friedlander has worked in many contexts, but is perhaps best known for his frequent collaborations with saxophonist John Zorn. Friedlander grew up in a home filled with art and music: his father is photographer Lee Friedlander, noted for the cover photographs he took for Atlantic Records. His father's fondness for R&B and jazz helped shape Friedlander's taste in music. He graduated from Columbia University in 1982.
