''Lucky 52'' (Simplified Chinese: 幸运52) is a variety show of CCTV-2, hosted by Li Yong. It was premiered in November 1998 and used the format of GoBingo. Due to the reformation of the channel, the last episode of the show aired on October 25, 2008. Format changes This show changed its format for several times, although the name of the show remained unchanged. The following are some of the formats used by the show. Lucky Classroom (幸运课堂) (June 1, 2007 - February 17, 2008) Similar to '' Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?''. The contestant had to answer 9 primary school level questions, 1,000 Renminbi would be awarded to the contestant for each question answered correctly. Li Yong (television Host)
Li Yong (; 3 May 1968 – 25 October 2018) was a leading host on China Central Television (CCTV). He was known for hosting the programs '' Lucky 52'', '' Super 6+1'', and various editions of the CCTV New Year's Gala. He was known for his unorthodox presentation skills and flamboyant outfits. Biography Li's family originated from Shandong, but he was born and raised in Urumqi, Xinjiang, in the far-west part of China. As a child, he was interested in painting. He excelled in the National College Entrance Examination and planned to become an actor. From 1987 he studied radio at the then Beijing Broadcasting Institute, where he began dating Ha Wen. The two subsequently married; Ha has both produced Li's programmes for CCTV and been his publicist. Li was a member of the Communist Party of China. ''GoBingo'' is a Philippine television game show broadcast by GMA Network. Hosted by Arnell Ignacio, it premiered on December 9, 1996 and concluded on January 1, 1999. The show returned on April 14, 2008 and concluded on October 10, 2008 with a total of 130 episodes. History ''GoBingo'' was initially aired from 1996 to 1999, hosted by Arnell Ignacio, with Maricar de Mesa as the first ''GobiGirl''.
