Lucidity (album)
''Lucidity'' is the debut full-length album by the Dutch symphonic metal band, Delain. It was released on 4 September 2006 by Roadrunner Records. It was released in the US by Sensory Records on 22 June 2010. In 2016 the band celebrated their 10th anniversary by re-releasing the album. After the disbandment of the band which had recorded the ''Amenity'' demo, the keyboard player and main composer Martijn Westerholt decided to retain lead vocalist Charlotte Wessels and to record an album with the best session musicians available, without the perspective of bringing the songs on tour. He recruited for the project Marko Hietala on vocals and bass, Ad Sluijter, Guus Eikens and Jan Yrlund on guitars and Ariën van Weesenbeek on drums. Guest vocalists on the album were Sharon den Adel, Liv Kristine, and George Oosthoek. The album was recorded in different periods during 2005 and 2006 to accommodate the availability of the many musicians involved, often on tour with their bands. ''L ...

Lucidity (festival)
Lucidity is an annual, three-day transformational festival in Santa Barbara, California. The festival's name alludes to lucid dreams; the events producers encourage attendees to "awake in [their] dreams". The event has been compared to Burning Man, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Electric Daisy Carnival, and the San Francisco New Year’s Eve event Sea of Dreams. It features performance arts and music stages featuring bands, spoken word artists, dancers and DJs. There is a large vendor area, including a focus on local foods, jewelry, clothing and sustainable goods. Live Oak Campground has been the site of many other music festivals, such as Lightning in a Bottle, from 2006–2008, until that event outgrew the venue. Lucidity went on hiatus since 2020, although virtual festivals were held. Vision and environmental ethic Much of the ethic of the event is rooted in the general philosophy of "Burning Man#Principles, burners". The event sponsore ...

Lucidity (song)
"Lucidity" is a song by Tame Impala, released as a single in 2010. It was recorded during the sessions for the ''Innerspeaker'' album in 2009, and released as the second single from that album. The single features artwork from Australian artist Leif Podhajsky, who also created the artwork for ''Innerspeaker'' and the follow-up ''Lonerism''. "Lucidity" came in at number 74 in the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2010. Composition "Lucidity" was written by Kevin Parker in the key of A major in a 4/4 time signature. The verses feature heavily rhythmic strumming of the chords E7sus4add9 and E major. The pre-chorus features a variation of the verse vocal melody played on a fuzz guitar in the A major scale four times, before the verse rhythm plays one more time. The chorus then comes in with a key change to G major, and a B major, Dmaj7, A major, G major barre chord progression. After the chorus, it switches back to the key of A major and there is a short arpeggio from C major to D ...

Lucidity (video Game)
''Lucidity'' is a side-scrolling puzzle-platform game developed and published by LucasArts for the Microsoft Windows and Xbox Live Arcade. Overview The game involves helping Sofi, a little girl wandering through her dreams in search of her Nana, who has disappeared from her life. Sofi walks innocently across the screen, to the end of each level. Instead of controlling her directly, players control a cursor and use objects such as stairs, trampolines and slingshots to get her across platforms and protect her from enemies. Similar to '' Tetris'', these items come randomly, with an icon in the corner showing which object will come next. Players can "hold" one item for use later on, but they cannot discard items. Within the level there are fireflies that can restore Sofi's health if she is hit by enemies, and which unlock bonus levels if collected in great numbers. If Sofi falls into hazards such as thorns, the player has to restart the level. Development The initial prototype fo ...

Lucid (other)
LUCID (Langton Ultimate Cosmic ray Intensity Detector) is a cosmic ray detector built by Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd and designed at Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys, in Canterbury, England. Its main purpose is to monitor cosmic rays using technology developed by CERN, and will help predict the occurrence of solar flares (proton storms) which disrupt artificial satellites. LUCID was launched on 8 July 2014 at Baikonur, Kazakhstan as an instrument of the satellite TechDemoSat-1, which was carried into space by a Soyuz-2 rocket.
