Lucas Mahias
Lucas Mahias (born 14 April 1989) is a French motorcycle racer for Kawasaki Puccetti Racing in the Superbike World Championship. In 2017 he won the Supersport World Championship aboard a Yamaha YZF-R6, and in 2016 he won the FIM Endurance World Championship riders' title aboard a Yamaha YZF-R1. He has also won the 2014 French Supersport Championship, winning all the 12 races of the season. Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit
The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Ventnor, on Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia. The current circuit was first used in 1956. History Road circuit Motor racing on Phillip Island began in 1928 with the running of the 100 Miles Road Race, an event which has since become known as the first Australian Grand Prix. It utilised a high speed rectangle of local closed-off public roads with four similar right hand corners. The course length varied, with the car course approximately per lap, compared to the motorcycle circuit which was approximately in length. Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya () is a motorsport race track in Montmeló, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. With long straights and a variety of corners, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is seen as an all-rounder circuit. The track has stands with a capacity of 140,700. The circuit has FIA Grade 1 license. Until 2013 the track was known only as the ''Circuit de Catalunya'', before a sponsorship deal with Barcelona City Council added Barcelona to the track's title. The 2013 Dutch TT was the seventh round of the 2013 MotoGP season. It was held at the TT Circuit Assen in Assen on 29 June 2013. MotoGP race report This race was most notable for Valentino Rossi's comeback ride to win the race and Jorge Lorenzo's excellent ride to fifth place after a heavy crash in one of the free practice sessions where he badly injured his left collarbone. On Thursday, reigning world champion Jorge Lorenzo crashed heavily during free practice in wet conditions and fractured his left collarbone as a result. After surgery he was able to take part in the race on Saturday. After six rounds, Dani Pedrosa narrowly leads the title hunt with 123 points. 2013 Catalan Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2013 Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix was the sixth round of the 2013 MotoGP season. It was held at the Circuit de Catalunya in Montmeló on 16 June 2013. Report Dani Pedrosa took his second consecutive MotoGP pole position ahead of Cal Crutchlow and Jorge Lorenzo. Pedrosa set a new circuit record for MotoGP with a 1:40.893, which beat his former teammate Casey Stoner's record of 1:41.186 set in 2008. Lorenzo went on to win the race, ahead of pole sitter Pedrosa, and Marc Márquez. Valentino Rossi finished in fourth place, after the collision with Álvaro Bautista in Italy. The 2013 Grand Prix of the Americas was the second round of the 2013 MotoGP season. It was held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas on 21 April 2013. Ajo Motorsport is a Finnish Grand Prix motorcycle racing team, currently competing in the Moto2 and Moto3 classes under the name Red Bull KTM Ajo and in the MotoE class under the name Avant Ajo MotoE. Circuit Ricardo Tormo, also known as ''Circuit de Valencia'' and officially named ''Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo'', is a motorsport race track located in Cheste (Valencian Community, Spain) and built in 1999. Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto (formerly known as Circuit of Jerez and Circuito Permanente de Jerez), is a racing circuit located close to the city of Jerez de la Frontera, south of Seville and deep within the sherry-producing region in the south of Spain. The project was led by the Spanish engineer Manuel Medina Lara, based on a preliminary idea from Alessandro Rocci. Circuit history The circuit opened on 8 December 1985.
