Luan Qerimi
Luan Qerimi (15 October 1929 – 2 December 2018) was an Albanian actor. He was known for his work in theater, and has performed in plays by William Shakespeare (''Othello'', ''Hamlet'') and Bertold Brecht (''The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui'') in addition to works by Albanian dramatists such as Kolë Jakova and Ekrem Kryeziu. Biography He also made a few films, and worked with Albanian directors such as Dhimitër Anagnosti. In 1989 Qerimi was named an Artist of Merit by the government of Albania. References External links

Lushnjë
Lushnjë (; in Lushnje's own dialect: ''Lushnje'' ; sq-definite, Lushnja) is a city and municipality in west-central Albania. It is located in the County of Fier. The total population is 83,659 (2011 census), in a total area of . History In January 1920, Lushnje was a provisional capital of Albania and the place of the Congress of Lushnje. Chieftains of Albania assembled in the town and declared Tirana first a provisional and then the definitive capital of Albania. 3 km away from Lushnjë is the Savra Field. This field is on the Lushnjë-Fier road. Here the first battle between Principality of Zeta and Ottoman Empire occurred in 1385 (the Battle of Savra). In this battle Balsha II was killed. Merited Artist of Albania ( sq, Artist i Merituar) was a state honorary title for the decoration of outstanding art performers of People's Socialist Republic of Albania. It was created by law in 1960 and amended in 1980. The title was no longer given in Albania after the law was amended in 1996. Definition The title is the state award of Albania that was given for the personal merit in Albania to the citizens that worked in their respective artistic field as a rule of no less than ten (10) years obtaining high on-the-job achievements and professional mastery. Dhimitër Anagnosti
Dhimitër Anagnosti (born 23 January 1936) is an Albanian film director of the 20th century. He was a member of the Parliament of Albania in the 1990s and a Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. For his contribution in film, he received the People's Artist of Albania medal. In 2011, former president Bamir Topi accredited him the "Honor of the Nation" order, sq, Urdhri "Nderi i Kombit". Early life Anagnosti was born on January 23, 1936 in Vuno, a village in the Himara municipality, District of Vlorë Albania. After graduating the ''Ali Demi'' high school in Vlorë, he pursued his studies and graduated as a film director in Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography of Moscow. Tirana ( , ; aln, Tirona) is the capital and largest city of Albania.
