Love Island (German TV Series)
''Love Island'' (also known as ''Love Island – Heiße Flirts & wahre Liebe'' (English: ''Love Island – Hot Flirts & True Love'') is a German dating reality show based on the British series ''Love Island''. The first five seasons were presented by Jana Ina and the sixth one by Sylvie Meis. The series is narrated by Christoph Kröger. The series began airing on RTL II on September 11, 2017. Contributors Jana Ina is presenting the show from first season and with Christoph Kröger been the Narrated for the first two seasons and from third season is Simon Beeck. In the first season Ina was presenting the final with her husband Giovanni Zarrella. In season 4, Cathy Hummels presented some episodes because Jana Ina was tested positive for COVID-19. Jana Ina
Jana Ina Zarrella (born Janaína Vizeu Berenhauser Borba; 12 December 1976) is a Brazilian television personality and presenter based in Germany. Biography Jana Ina was born in Petropolis, a city of the state of Rio de Janeiro, where she took up a number of dancing classes including salsa, mambo, ballet, jazz and samba. She had taken singing classes for eleven years and sang in a choir as a backup singer. At 15, she signed up at a modelling agency. After completing school in 1994, Jana Ina began studying journalism at the State University of Rio de Janeiro. In 1999, she moved to Germany, where her great-grandparents are originally from. Soon after moving, she received offers to record an album. Sylvie Françoise Meis (born 13 April 1978), known for sometime as Sylvie van der Vaart, is a Dutch television personality and model based in Germany. Career Netherlands Born in Breda, Netherlands, Meis is partly of Dutch East Indies origin. She graduated from the University of West Brabant ( nl, Hogeschool West-Brabant).
