Lost For Words (1999 Film)
''Lost for Words'' is a British TV film which premiered on ITV Network, ITV on 3 January 1999. It was adapted from his autobiographical book of the same title by Deric Longden and directed by Alan J.W. Bell. It was a sequel to Longden's earlier autobiographical film ''Wide-Eyed and Legless'' (aka ''The Wedding Gift''). It dealt with Deric's mother Annie (Thora Hird), her decline into dementia and how Deric (Pete Postlethwaite) and his wife Aileen (Penny Downie) coped with this. For her performance, Hird won the 2000 BAFTA for Best Actress, the 1999 RTS Award for Best Actor - Female, and the 1999 National Television Award for Most Popular Actress. The programme also won a 1999 Peabody Award and the 1999 International Emmy for Best Drama.59th Annual Peabody Awards

Deric Longden
Deric Francis Longden (29 November 1936 – 23 June 2013) was a British writer, autobiographer, reporter, public speaker and broadcaster. Life and career Early years Longden was born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He was the son of Frederick Longden (16 September 1908 – 1969) and Annie Mary Longden (née Wright, 23 August 1910 – 1988) who were married in 1933. Longden left school at 15. He married Diana Hill in 1958 and they had two children together, a son and a daughter. After various jobs he took over a small women's lingerie factory, but began writing and broadcasting in the 1970s for programmes like '' Does He Take Sugar?'' and ''Woman's Hour'' on BBC Radio 4. Longden worked for BBC Radio Derby for around 30 years and was also a football reporter. Most of his work was based on his own experience. John Humphrys
Desmond John Humphrys (born 17 August 1943) is a Welsh broadcaster. Deniz Tek
Deniz Tek (born November 10, 1952) is a Turkish-American singer, guitarist and songwriter and a founding member of Australian rock group Radio Birdman. He has played in many of the underground rock bands of the 1970s including Australian bands The Visitors, and New Race but is most known for exerting his burning Detroit style guitar influence over the punk rock genre in Australia. Mach One
Mach One are a British neo-progressive rock band, founded in 1980 by a group of students attending Burlington Danes High School in West London. After a series of studio demos, school gigs and lineup changes, the band attracted the attention of Keith Goodwin (notable as publicist for Yes, Rod Argent, Black Sabbath, in the 1970s, and Marillion in the 1980s) who represented them through 1983-85. "Lost for Words" is a song recorded by English rock band Pink Floyd, focused on forgiveness, written by guitarist and lead singer David Gilmour and his spouse Polly Samson for the band's 14th studio album, ''The Division Bell''. It appears as the penultimate track on the album. The lyrics, mostly penned by Samson, are a bitterly sarcastic reflection on Gilmour's then-strained relationship with former bandmate Roger Waters .
