Lost And Beautiful
''Lost and Beautiful'' ( it, Bella e perduta) is a 2015 Italian fantasy-drama film produced, written and directed by Pietro Marcello. It was entered into the main competition at the 2015 Locarno International Film Festival. Plot Pulcinella, mask of the Campania tradition, intermediary between the living and the dead, has the mission of fulfilling the last wishes of a simple Campania shepherd, Tommaso Cestrone: to rescue a buffalo named Sarchiapone. Pulcinella then goes to the Royal Palace of Carditello, a Bourbon residence abandoned to itself in the heart of the land of fires, of which Tommaso was the voluntary guardian and where the young buffalo is found. He takes it with him to the north, on a long journey through a beautiful and lost Italy. The Locarno Film Festival is an annual film festival, held every August in Locarno, Switzerland. Pulcinella (; nap, Pulecenella) is a classical character that originated in of the 17th century and became a stock character in Neapolitan puppetry. Pulcinella's versatility in status and attitude has captivated audiences worldwide and kept the character popular in countless forms since his introduction to by Silvio Fiorillo in 1620. His visual appearance includes a humpback, a crooked nose, gangly legs, a potbelly, large cheeks, and a gigantic mouth. These traits were inherited from two stock characters of the Atellan Farce. Elio Germano (born 25 September 1980) is an Italian actor. He is the recipient of many accolades, including a Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor and a Silver Bear for Best Actor.
