Los Tres García
''Los tres García'' ("The Three Garcias") is a 1947 Mexican comedy film. It stars Pedro Infante, Abel Salazar and Carlos Orellana. For the film's exterior shots, the Delegation or City of Cuajimalpa (within modern Mexico City), was used, specially Parroquia San Pedro Apostol, which still provides religious services. Pedro Infante fell in love with the town, the locals and countryside, to the point of building a large mansion just outside Cuajimalpa. He lived there until his death in 1957. The house stood there until the 1990s; it was later demolished and Husky Injection Molding Systems Mexico was constructed on the same site. The northwest exterior wall that surrounded Pedro's property still stands to this day. A sequel, ''Vuelven los García'' (The Garcias Return) was released a few months later the same year. Sara García
Sara García Hidalgo (8 September 1895 – 21 November 1980) was a Mexican actress who made her biggest mark during the "Golden Age of Mexican cinema". During the 1940s and 1950s, she often played the part of a no-nonsense but lovable grandmother in numerous Mexican films. In later years, she played parts in Mexican telenovelas. García is remembered by her nickname, ''La Abuelita de México'' ("Mexico's Grandmother"). Life and career 1895–1917: Childhood Sara García Hidalgo was born on 8 September 1895 at Orizaba Veracruz. Abel Salazar García (24 September 1917 – 21 October 1995) was a Mexican actor, producer and director. He appeared in 70 films between 1941 and 1989. He was a son of ''Don'' García and his wife, and brother to ''Don'' Alfredo Salazar. Personal life After marriages to Alicia Cárdenas and Gloria Marín, he married, lastly, Rosita Arenas, who had been briefly married to Spanish actor Jaime de Mora y Aragón. Pedro Infante Cruz (; 18 November 1917 – 15 April 1957) was a Mexican ranchera music singer and actor, whose career spanned the golden age of Mexican cinema. His popularity spread across Latin America. Infante was born in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and raised in nearby Guamúchil. He died on 15 April 1957 in Mérida, Yucatán, while en route to Mexico City when his plane crashed due to engine failure. From 1939 until his death, Infante acted in over 60 films (30 of them with his brother Ángel) and recorded over 350 songs. For his performance in the movie ''Tizoc'', he was posthumously awarded the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 7th Berlin International Film Festival.
