Los Del Mar
Los del Mar (Spanish language, Spanish for ''those from the sea'', referring to Marbella) was a short-lived Music of Canada, Canadian music duet, duo, best known for their 1995 cover version of the Los del Río 1993 song "Macarena#Los del Mar cover version, Macarena", which was included on their album ''Macarena: The Hit Album''. The main member, Pedro Castaño, is still touring with this song. Although it just missed the Top 40 in the UK Singles Chart (peaking at number 43 while the Los Del Río version reached number 2), it was included in the game Samba de Amigo. Los del Río (, "Those from the River"), also known as The Del Rios, are a Spanish Latin pop and dance duo which was formed in 1962 by Antonio Romero Monge (17 February 1948) and Rafael Ruiz Perdigones (10 November 1947). They are best known for their hit dance single "Macarena", originally released in 1993. The song went on to become a worldwide success. "Macarena" is a dance song by Spanish pop duo Los del Río, about a woman of the same name. The song uses a type of clave rhythm. Originally appearing on the 1993 album '' A mí me gusta'', a subsequent remix by Miami-based producers The Bayside Boys became an international hit and inspired a dance craze in the latter half of 1996 and part of 1997. ''British Hit Singles & Albums'' (originally known as ''The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles'' and ''The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums'') was a music reference book originally published in the United Kingdom by the publishing arm of the Guinness breweries, Guinness Superlatives. is a rhythm game developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega. The game was released in arcades in December 1999, and for the Dreamcast video game console in 2000. A port for the Wii was also developed by Gearbox Software and Escalation Studios and released in 2008. In ''Samba de Amigo'', the player uses controllers shaped like maracas with the goal of matching a series of patterns displayed on-screen. Samba de Amigo expresses South american music, culture and dancing. The music in ''Samba de Amigo'' is made of primarily popular Latin music songs rather than common or traditional samba. The game also features non-Latin pop songs. Gameplay ''Samba de Amigo'' is played with a pair of maracas.
