Lorena B was an Israeli electronic band, whose music is a fusion of soft Icelandic sounds and harsh electronica. Today Yoav and Roi are working with Johnny Sharoni on their new band "Garden city movement". Adi continued solo. Biography Lorena B combines vocals, electronic beats, and a unique sound. Since its inception, the band has created a live show with a variety of sounds, mixing rock and electronica. With the release of their self-produced debut album, ''Siblings'', Lorena B went on their first tour in the UK. Songs from the album were played on the Jarvis Cocker's ''Sunday Service'' show on BBC Radio 6 Music, London's XFM, and on many blogs around the net. Blonde Redhead is an American alternative rock band composed of Kazu Makino (vocals, keys/rhythm guitar) and twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace (drums/keys and lead guitar/bass/keys/vocals, respectively) that formed in New York City in 1993. Chopped and screwed (also called screwed and chopped or slowed and throwed) is a music genre and technique of remixing music that involves slowing down the tempo and deejaying. It developed in the Houston hip hop scene in the early 1990s by DJ Screw. The screwed technique involves slowing the tempo of a song down to 60 and 70 quarter-note beats per minute and applying techniques such as skipping beats, record scratching, stop-time and affecting portions of the original composition to create a "chopped-up" version of the song. Junior Boys are a Canadian electronic pop group, founded in 1999 in Hamilton, Ontario by Jeremy Greenspan and Johnny Dark.
