Lorelei Shannon (born 1965 in Mesa, Arizona) is an American writer of horror and computer games. Shannon is the author of a number of books and short stories. Her work has been listed in ''The Supernatural Index: A Listing of Fantasy, Supernatural, Occult, Weird, and Horror Anthologies'', by Mike Ashley and William G. Contento. She co-edited the anthology ''Hours of Darkness'' for Scorpius Digital Publishing, which contained stories by well-known horror authors such as Ramsey Campbell, Peter Crowther, Dennis Etchison, Joe R. Lansdale, and Richard Christian Matheson. She is a designer and screenwriter for three games from Sierra On-Line. Shannon co-designed ''King's Quest VII'', a 1994 installment in Sierra Entertainment's ''King's Quest'' computer game series, with Sierra founder Roberta Williams. Scott Murphy (video Game Designer)
Scott Murphy (born October 13, 1954) is an American video game designer, programmer, and writer who developed several adventure games, mostly for Sierra On-Line. He is best known for creating the ''Space Quest'' series, mostly with his fellow "Guy from Andromeda", Mark Crowe. Biography Murphy started out in Sierra's hometown of Oakhurst, California by cooking at a local restaurant. When his friend Doug Oldfield joined Sierra, Murphy discovered his love for adventure games and soon joined the company himself. Murphy worked his way up from customer support to actually working on games. He first worked with Mark Crowe on '' The Black Cauldron''. ''Pepper's Adventures in Time'' is an educational adventure game released in 1993 by Sierra On-Line. The project was based on a concept by Sierra VP of Development/Creative Director, Bill Davis, who also designed the game's main characters. This was intended to be the first in a series of edutainment games in which the player, as Pepper, traveled back in time to set right mixed-up situations surrounding famous individuals. ''King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow'' is a point-and-click adventure game, first released in 1992 as the sixth installment in the ''King's Quest'' series produced by Sierra On-Line. Written by Roberta Williams and Jane Jensen, ''King's Quest VI'' is widely recognized as the high point in the series for its landmark 3D graphic introduction movie (created by Kronos Digital Entertainment) and professional voice acting (Hollywood actor Robby Benson provided the voice for Prince Alexander, the game's protagonist). Jane Jensen (born Jane Elizabeth Smith; January 28, 1963 in Palmerton, Pennsylvania) is an American video game designer and author. She is mostly known as the creator of the ''Gabriel Knight'' series of adventure games, and also co-founded Oberon Media and Pinkerton Road video game development companies. Jensen also writes under the name Eli Easton. Early life Jane Jensen was born Jane Elizabeth Smith, the youngest of seven children.
