''Look What's Happened to Rosemary's Baby'' (also known as ''Rosemary's Baby Part II'') is a 1976 American television film, made-for-television horror film and a sequel to Roman Polanski's 1968 film ''Rosemary's Baby (film), Rosemary's Baby'' starring Stephen McHattie, Patty Duke, George Maharis, Ruth Gordon and Ray Milland. The film premiered as the ''List of television films produced for American Broadcasting Company, ABC Friday Night Movie'' on October 29, 1976. It has little connection to the Rosemary's Baby (novel), novel by Ira Levin, on which the first film was based. It is not based on Levin's sequel novel, ''Son of Rosemary'', which was published later, although there are some similarities (e.g. the child in both stories is called Andrew/Andy). The only actor to return from the first film is Ruth Gordon as Minnie Castevet. Sam O'Steen, an editor on the first movie, directed this sequel. ''Rosemary's Baby'' is a 1967 horror novel by American writer Ira Levin; it was his second published book. It was the best-selling horror novel of the 1960s, selling over 4 million copies. The high popularity of the novel was a catalyst for a "horror boom", and horror fiction would achieve enormous commercial success. Plot The book centers on Rosemary Woodhouse, a young woman who has just moved into the Bramford, a historic Gothic Revival-style New York City apartment building, with her husband, Guy, a struggling actor. ''Rosemary's Baby'' is a 2014 two-part, four-hour television miniseries adaptation of Ira Levin's best-selling 1967 horror novel Rosemary's Baby (novel), of the same name and its 1997 sequel ''Son of Rosemary''. Zoe Saldaña, Zoe Saldana stars in the NBC production, directed by Agnieszka Holland. Unlike earlier versions, it is set in Paris rather than New York. The work was not well received by critics, many of whom said that it was stretched to fill two two-hour timeslots. Joyride (crime)
Joyriding refers to driving or riding in a stolen vehicle, most commonly a car, with no particular goal other than the pleasure or thrill of doing so or to impress other people. The term "Joy Riding" was coined by a New York judge in 1908. Joyriders often act opportunistically and choose easy targets (key-on-ignition while shopping, neighbor's car...). Like other car thieves, they can also gain access to locked cars with a flathead screwdriver and a slide hammer, although modern cars have systems to prevent a screwdriver from opening locks. Locks in cars manufactured before the early to mid-1990s were very weak and could be opened easily. The vehicle is started by either hot-wiring or breaking the ignition lock. Personal life Huffman was born on May 10, 1945, in Berwyn, Illinois, to Clarence and Opal Huffman (née Dippel). Plot The novel begins in November 1999, with Rosemary Woodhouse waking up in a long-term care facility. She has lain in a coma since 1973.
