Logan Morrison (ice Hockey)
Justis Logan Morrison (born August 25, 1987), nicknamed "LoMo", is an American professional baseball first baseman and left fielder who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Miami Marlins, Florida/Miami Marlins, Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers. He was the 2008 Florida State League MVP, and played in the 2010 All-Star Futures Game. Entering the 2010 baseball season, Morrison was considered by ''Baseball America'' to be the #2 prospect in the Florida Marlins farm system, and the #20 overall prospect. That season he made his major league debut with the Marlins. Florida State League
The Florida State League (FSL) is a Minor League Baseball league based in the state of Florida. Having been classified at various levels throughout its existence, it operated at Class A-Advanced from 1990 until its demotion to Single-A following Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues. The league temporarily operated for the 2021 season as the Low-A Southeast before reassuming its original moniker in 2022. The Miami Marlins are an American professional baseball team based in Miami. The Marlins compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League (NL) East division. The club's home ballpark is LoanDepot Park. The franchise began play as an expansion team in the 1993 season as the Florida Marlins. The Marlins originally played home games at Joe Robbie Stadium, which they shared with the National Football League (NFL)'s Miami Dolphins. Northshore High School in Slidell, Louisiana, United States, serves a population of approximately 14,000 in its district. Northshore, which serves small portions of northern and eastern Slidell, is a part of the St. Tammany Parish Public Schools. The students of Northshore High are residents of a suburban community east and across the lake from the city of New Orleans. Slidell's population is just over 29,000. A draft is a process used in some countries (especially in North America) and sports (especially in closed leagues) to allocate certain players to teams. In a draft, teams take turns selecting from a pool of eligible players. When a team selects a player, the team receives exclusive rights to sign that player to a contract, and no other team in the league may sign the player. The process is similar to round-robin item allocation. The best-known type of draft is the entry draft, which is used to allocate players who have recently become eligible to play in a league. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played.
