Lodi Railway Station (Lombardy)
Lodi railway station ( it, Stazione di Lodi) serves the city and ''comune'' of Lodi, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. Launched 1861, it lies along the Milan–Bologna railway. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services are operated by Trenitalia, Trenitalia TPER (Emilia Romagna) and Trenord. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company. Location Lodi railway station is located in Piazzale della Stazione, at the southern edge of the town centre. History The station was opened November 14, 1861, right after the Milan–Piacenza section of the Milan–Bologna railway was launched. It has undergone many changes after that. Lodi (Rome Metro)
Lodi is an underground station of Line C of the Rome Metro. It served as the western terminus of Line C since its opening, on June 29, 2015, until May 12, 2018, when the terminus moved to San Giovanni. The station is not exactly located in Piazza Lodi, after which it is named, but further west in Via La Spezia, between Via Orvieto and Piazza Camerino Camerino is a town in the province of Macerata, Marche, central-eastern Italy. Lodi Transit Station, or simply Lodi station, is an intermodal transit facility in Lodi, California. It serves the ''San Joaquins'' rail line, is the hub for the local Lodi GrapeLine bus service and is also served by other intercity buses. It is located at 24 South Sacramento Street in Lodi, California. In fiscal year 2019, Lodi was the 59th-busiest of Amtrak's 73 California stations, boarding or detraining an average of about 30 passengers daily. History Rail service to the area began in 1869, when the Central Pacific Railroad established a depot where the present station stands. Local landowning families had donated the site of the town eventually known as Lodi to the railroad as an incentive to build there. The original building burned down in 1906, and Southern Pacific Railroad, the successor to the Central Pacific, erected a new colonnade-style depot in 1907 half a block to the north.
