Liza Van Der Most
Liza Estefany van der Most (born 8 October 1993) is a Dutch footballer who plays as defender for AFC Ajax in the Eredivisie and the Netherlands women's national football team. Club career As youth player, she played at VV Papendrecht before she joined the girl's academic of SteDoCo at the age of 11. In September 2008 she earned a spot in the KNVB Talent team. In July 2012 she was transferred to Ajax, where she made her professional debut on 24 August 2012 in the match against SC Heerenveen. International career She made her international debut on 20 August 2014 against Brazil. She was part of the Dutch team which won the UEFA Women's Euro 2017. After the tournament, the whole team was honoured by the Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister of Sport Edith Schippers and made Knights of the Order of Orange-Nassau. Tessel Tina Middag (; born 23 December 1992) is a Dutch footballer who plays as a midfielder for Rangers in the Scottish Women's Premier League and the Dutch national team, representing the country at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. She previously played for ADO Den Haag, AFC Ajax, Manchester City, West Ham United, and Fiorentina. Club career ADO Den Haag Middag joined ADO Den Haag in 2011. 2018 Algarve Cup
The 2018 Algarve Cup was the 25th edition of the Algarve Cup, an invitational women's football tournament held annually in Portugal. It took place from 28 February to 7 March 2018. The final was cancelled after torrential rain flooded the pitch: the Netherlands and Sweden were declared joint winners of the Algarve Cup. Format The twelve invited teams were split into three groups to play a round-robin tournament. Points awarded in the group stage followed the standard formula of three points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a loss. The Algarve Cup is an invitational tournament for national teams in women's association football hosted by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). Held annually in the Algarve region of Portugal since 1994, it is one of the most prestigious and longest-running women's international football events and has been nicknamed the ''"Mini FIFA Women's World Cup"''. The UEFA European Women's Championship, also called the UEFA Women's Euro, held every four years, is the main competition in women's association football between national teams of the UEFA confederation. The KNVB Women's Cup ( nl, KNVB Beker voor Vrouwen) is the cup competition for women's football in the Netherlands. The competition was established in 1980, along with the KNVB Amateur Cup. The 2016–17 Eredivisie Vrouwen was the seventh season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. The season took place from 2 September 2016 to 26 May 2017 with eight teams. Papendrecht () is a town and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland, at the crossing of the River Beneden Merwede and the Noord River. Edith Ingeborg Schippers (born 25 August 1964) is a retired Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and businesswoman serving as President of the DSM Company since 1 February 2019.
