Living In A Moment
''Living in a Moment'' is the second studio album by American country music artist Ty Herndon. The album was released in 1996 (see 1996 in country music) via Epic Records. Like his debut album '' What Mattered Most'', the album has been certified gold by the RIAA. It features the singles "Living in a Moment", "She Wants to Be Wanted Again", "Loved Too Much" and "I Have to Surrender". The video for Living in a Moment was filmed at Sunset Station in San Antonio, Texas. The depot was owned by VIA Metropolitan Transit and was, at the time, a stopping point for Amtrak. Content ''Living in a Moment'' is led off by its title track, which is also the first single release from it. This song became Herndon's second Number One hit on the ''Billboard'' country singles charts in 1996. Ty Herndon
Boyd Tyrone Herndon (born May 2, 1962), known professionally as Ty Herndon, is an American country music singer and songwriter. His music career began in the 1980s as a member of the Tennessee River Boys, a predecessor to the country band Diamond Rio. Herndon quit the band early on and gained his first national exposure as a competitor on ''Star Search''. He then played at various honky-tonks in Texas. After signing to Epic Records in 1993, Herndon made his debut in 1995 with his number one single, "What Mattered Most (song), What Mattered Most". This was followed that same year by the release of his first album, also titled ''What Mattered Most''. Herndon released three more studio albums and a compilation for Epic: ''Living in a Moment'' (1996), ''Big Hopes'' (1998), ''Steam (Ty Herndon album), Steam'' (1999), and ''This Is Ty Herndon: Greatest Hits'' (2002). Larry Stewart (born March 2, 1959) is an American country music singer, best known for his role as lead singer of the country pop band Restless Heart. In 1993, Stewart left the band in pursuit of a solo career, recording four solo albums and charting eight singles on the ''Billboard'' Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts before reuniting with Restless Heart in 2002. Frank Robert Ballard IV (born December 16, 1982) is an American country music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has released two albums each for Reprise Records and Warner Bros. Records, and has charted eight singles on the Hot Country Songs charts. Personal life Ballard played college baseball at Mott Community College. Kevin Sharp (country Singer)
Kevin Grant Sharp (December 10, 1970 – April 19, 2014) was an American country music singer, author, and motivational speaker. Sharp came on the country music scene in 1996 with his first single: a cover of Tony Rich's " Nobody Knows", which topped the '' Billboard'' country chart for four weeks. The same year, Sharp released his first album, ''Measure of a Man''. Having survived a form of bone cancer in his teenage years, Sharp became actively involved in the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He wrote an inspirational book about his life and his fight with cancer, and occasionally toured the United States as a motivational speaker. Doug Stone (born Douglas Jackson Brooks; June 19, 1956) is an American country music singer and actor. He debuted in 1990 with the single "I'd Be Better Off (In a Pine Box)", the first release from his 1990 self-titled debut album for Epic Records. Both this album and its successor, 1991's '' I Thought It Was You'', earned a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Two more albums for Epic, 1992's '' From the Heart'' and 1994's '' More Love'', are each certified gold. McAlyster
McAlyster was an American country music group founded in Pensacola, Florida. Its members comprised Cody Collins, Josh Walther, Leigh Usilton and Valerie Gills. They were signed to MCA Nashville Records in 2000. Their debut single, "I Know How the River Feels", was previously a No. 32 country single in 1999 for Diamond Rio, and was originally recorded by Ty Herndon on his 1996 album ''Living in a Moment''. McAlyster's demo rendition was released as a single, peaking at No. 69 on the country charts. Diamond Rio is an American country music band. The band was founded in 1982 as an attraction for the Opryland USA theme park in Nashville, Tennessee, and was originally known as the Grizzly River Boys, then the Tennessee River Boys. It was founded by Matt Davenport, Danny Gregg, and Ty Herndon, the last of whom became a solo artist in the mid-1990s.
