Livewire (Leslie Willis) is a supervillainess appearing in multimedia produced by DC Entertainment, and American comic books published by DC Comics. Created for ''Superman: The Animated Series'', the character appeared in March 1997 in ''Superman Adventures'' #5 (based on the animated series). Her first mainstream comic book appearance was in DC Comics' ''Action Comics'' #835 (March 2006). ''Livewires'' is a six-issue comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics in 2005. The series was written by Adam Warren, who also provided layouts, and pencilled by Rick Mays. The series stars a group of fictional androids who are members of a covert black ops program code named Project Livewire. These androids are on a mission to seek out and destroy other black ops. Characters *Cornfed looks like a big farm boy and seems to be the team's muscle, but he is actually in charge of all mechanical repairs. Livewire 1350 (more commonly referred to as simply Livewire) is a student radio station run by students of the University of East Anglia in Norwich, Norfolk. The station is part of the UEA Media Collective, which consists of Concrete (student newspaper) and UEA:TV.
