Livewire (Leslie Willis) is a supervillainess appearing in multimedia produced by DC Entertainment, and American comic books published by DC Comics. Created for ''Superman: The Animated Series'', the character appeared in March 1997 in ''Superman Adventures'' #5 (based on the animated series). Her first mainstream comic book appearance was in DC Comics' ''Action Comics'' #835 (March 2006). In television, the character was voiced by Lori Petty in ''Superman: The Animated Series'' and Maria Canals-Barrera, Maria Canals in ''Justice League (TV series), Justice League''. ''Livewires'' is a six-issue comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics in 2005. The series was written by Adam Warren, who also provided layouts, and pencilled by Rick Mays. The series stars a group of fictional androids who are members of a covert black ops program code named Project Livewire. These androids are on a mission to seek out and destroy other black ops. Characters *Cornfed looks like a big farm boy and seems to be the team's muscle, but he is actually in charge of all mechanical repairs. He can usually be found behind the scenes giving support and coordinating the team's missions. *Gothic Lolita is the ''actual'' muscle even though she does not look the part. Livewire is an audio-over-IP system created by Axia Audio, a division of Telos Alliance. Its primary purpose is routing and distributing broadcast-quality audio in radio stations. The original Livewire standard was introduced in 2003 and has since been superseded by a second version, Livewire+. Livewire+ includes compatibility with the AES67 and Ravenna standards to allow interoperability with equipment from other manufacturers. Livewire is a fictional superhero that appears in comic books published by Valiant Comics. Created by Bob Layton and Joe St. Pierre. Livewire first appeared in ''Harbinger'' #15 (March 1993). Livewire 1350 (more commonly referred to as simply Livewire) is a student radio station run by students of the University of East Anglia in Norwich, Norfolk. The station is part of the UEA Media Collective, which consists of Concrete (student newspaper) and UEA:TV.
