Liverpool F.C. Superleague Formula team was the racing team of Liverpool F.C., a football team that competes in England in the Premier League. The Liverpool F.C. racing team competed in the Superleague Formula. They have been operated by Hitech Junior Team in all seasons, although the team changed name to Atech Grand Prix for 2010. 2008 season In the 2008 Superleague Formula season Liverpool F.C. finished 4th overall in the table with 325 points. Spanish driver Adrián Vallés was the Liverpool driver for all rounds. In the 2008 Zolder round, Liverpool F.C. won their first race, and also had the fastest lap in the first race. Liverpool won their 2nd and last win of the 2008 season at the 2008 Estoril round. Adrián Vallés
Adrián Vallés Escortell (born 3 June 1986) is a Spanish race car driver. Career Vallés was born in Teulada, Alicante. After a strong karting career, he drove in Spanish Formula Three, before moving to the World Series by Nissan in 2004. The series was renamed World Series by Renault in 2005 while he continued in the series, finishing 2nd in the standings with two race wins. In 2006 he started racing in the GP2 Series with Campos Racing, and also tested for the MF1 Racing Formula One team on 19 September. The team was bought out by Spyker and on 30 January 2007 Vallés was named the team's official reserve driver. He returned to GP2 for 2008, driving for the FMS International team in the GP2 Asia Series. He remained with the team for the first round of the 2008 GP2 Series season, but then switched to BCN Competicion. 2008 Vallelunga Superleague Formula Round
The 2008 Vallelunga Superleague Formula round was the fifth round of the inaugural Superleague Formula championship, with the races taking place on November 2, 2008. Eighteen football teams were represented on the grid, the same number of teams as there was at the previous three rounds. There were two driver changes before this round of the championship and one during the round: Duncan Tappy returned to the Tottenham Hotspur cockpit replacing Dominik Jackson, having missed the previous round in Portugal and Kasper Andersen was replaced by Stamatis Katsimis in the Olympiacos CFP car. The 2009 Estoril Superleague Formula round was the fourth round of the 2009 Superleague Formula season, with the races taking place on September 6, 2009. Report Qualifying SC Corinthians (Antônio Pizzonia) took his 3rd Superleague Formula pole of the season. Race 1 Polesitter SC Corinthians (Antônio Pizzonia) went too slowly at the start and got passed by Olympiacos CFP (Esteban Guerrieri). When the pitstops came around Liverpool F.C. (Adrián Vallés) passed the Olympiacos CFP car in the pitstops. During SC Corinthians pitstop the car left with the rear jack still attached to the car. The 2009 Donington Park Superleague Formula round was the third round of the 2009 Superleague Formula season, with the races taking place on 2 August 2009. Support race events included the Historic Formula One Championship, British Superkart and Formula Jedi. The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. 2010 Superleague Formula Season
The 2010 Superleague Formula season was the third Superleague Formula championship. The series was rebranded "Superleague Formula by Sonangol", due to a two-year deal that began in the previous season. The first race of the season was on 4 April at Silverstone and it finished on 24 October at Navarra after a series record of 12 race weekends in all. The series' prize fund was increased to €5 million, with the championship-winning team winning €1 million. Superleague Formula teamed up with The NewsMarket to distribute video content to 25,000 global media outlets in over 190 countries throughout the season.
