''Live at the Hollywood Palladium, December 15, 1988'' is a live album by Keith Richards and was released on 10 December 1991, in the United States and 24 February 1992, in the United Kingdom. Recorded during a brief American tour, the only leg of shows, in support of '' Talk Is Cheap'' in late 1988, Richards is supported by a set of musicians and friends dubbed "The X-Pensive Winos". The Winos included Waddy Wachtel, Steve Jordan, Charley Drayton, Ivan Neville, and Sarah Dash. Longtime Rolling Stones contributor Bobby Keys also plays saxophone. "Happy" is the tenth track on the Rolling Stones' 1972 album ''Exile on Main St.'' and features Keith Richards on lead vocals. Steve Jordan (drummer)
Steve Jordan (born January 14, 1957) is an American musical director, producer, songwriter, and musician. During the 1970s and 1980s, he was a member of the bands for the television shows ''Saturday Night Live'' and ''Late Night with David Letterman''. In the early 1980s, Jordan was a member of the band "Eye Witness", along with Anthony Jackson on bass, and Manolo Badrena on percussion. Since the mid 1980s, Jordan has also been a member of the X-Pensive Winos, the side project of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. "Connection" is a song by the English rock and roll band the Rolling Stones, featured on their 1967 album '' Between the Buttons''. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards (but mostly Richards), features vocals by both and is said to be about the long hours the band spent in airports. The lyrics contain much rhyming based on the word ''connection''. The lyrics also reflect the pressures the band was under by 1967: The song was written before Jagger, Richards and fellow Rolling Stone Brian Jones were arrested by the police for drugs. Jordan "Jerry" Ragovoy (September 4, 1930 – July 13, 2011) was an American songwriter and record producer. His best-known composition " Time Is on My Side" (written under the pseudonym of Norman Meade) was made famous by the Rolling Stones, although it had been recorded earlier by Kai Winding and Irma Thomas. Lowell Fillmore "Sly" Dunbar (born 10 May 1952, Kingston, Jamaica) is a drummer, best known as one half of the prolific Jamaican rhythm section and reggae production duo Sly and Robbie. Biography Dunbar began playing at 15 in a band called The Yardbrooms. His first appearance on a recording was on the Dave and Ansell Collins album ''Double Barrel''. "Take It So Hard" is the first single from Keith Richards' first solo record, ''Talk Is Cheap''. The long-time Rolling Stones guitarist recorded the record after bandmate Mick Jagger refused to tour in 1986 in support of the album '' Dirty Work''. The second song of the eleven track record, it is a powerful example of vocal rock harmonies and rhythmic guitar, piano and percussion syncopation, with an overlay of vocal tracks that bury the lyrics within the push and pull of the music. ''Flashpoint'' is a live album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, their first live album by the group since 1982's ''Still Life''.
