Adult Alternative Songs
Adult Alternative Airplay (also known as Triple A or Triple A Airplay, and formerly Adult Alternative Songs and Triple A Songs) is a record chart currently published by ''Billboard'' that ranks the most popular songs on adult album alternative radio stations. The 40-position chart is formulated based on each song's weekly radio spins, as measured by Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems. The earliest incarnation of the chart was first published on January 20, 1996, as a feature in ''Billboard'' sister publication ''Airplay Monitor''. In 2006, ''Airplay Monitor'' ceased publication after ''Billboard'' parent company VNU Media's acquisition of rival radio trade magazine ''Radio & Records'', which then subsequently incorporated ''Airplay Monitor''s Nielsen-based Triple A chart. ''Billboard'' itself began publishing the Triple A chart in the issue dated July 5, 2008 through their Billboard.biz website, appropriating the same airplay data as ''Radio & Records''. ''Radio & Records'' closed in J ...

The Moneymaker
"The Moneymaker" is a song by American indie rock band Rilo Kiley. It was released on July 3, 2007, as the first single from the group's fourth album ''Under the Blacklight'' (2007). The lyrics are almost certainly about sex, if not prostitution or the adult industry, in keeping with the album's theme of showing the "sketchy side" of Los Angeles. Music video The music video for "The Moneymaker" opens with brief clips of interviews (apparently conducted by Jenny Lewis) with pornographic actors Tommy Gunn, Faye Runaway, and Hailey Young. Along with the band, these three are featured in the video, where they interact in what is best described as a sexually charged manner. Sorry About Dresden
Sorry About Dresden was an indie rock band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The band formed in 1997 and was signed to Saddle Creek Records. Career Combining elements of traditional alternative rock and punk rock, the band has drawn comparisons to Pavement, Superchunk, and the Archers of Loaf. The music’s sound is guitar-driven with a twangy, chiming feel. Though they use political-historical references in a number of their song and album titles and in the name of the band itself (''see'' Bombing of Dresden in World War II), Sorry About Dresden’s music is largely apolitical. Lyrics tend to be melancholy or about weather. Sorry About Dresden has released three full-length albums, an EP, and has appeared on a number of compilations and finally found a home on Saddle Creek Records. The band’s first release was ''The Mayor Will Abdicate'' in 1999 under the independent label Route 14 Records. This was followed by ''How the Cold War Began'' and ''The Convenience of Indecis ...

After Hours (The Velvet Underground Song)
"After Hours" is a 1969 song written by Lou Reed and originally performed by the Velvet Underground. It is the tenth and final track on their self-titled third album. It is one of few songs with lead vocals by drummer Maureen Tucker, as Lou Reed stated the song was "so innocent and pure" that he could not possibly sing it himself. Tucker's vocals are accompanied by acoustic and bass guitar. The style of the lyrics and the music is somewhat reminiscent of Tin Pan Alley songs of the 1930s. Music video In 2014, Universal Music Enterprises held a contest in collaboration with Genero to create an official music video for the song. From 120 submissions, the video by Choking Monkey Productions was picked as the winner and subsequently uploaded to the Velvet Underground Vevo YouTube channel. Covers * R.E.M. performed the song whilst touring the album ''Green'', one performance being recorded on the ''Tourfilm'' DVD. * Blind Melon singer Shannon Hoon sang it briefly at a concert in 19 ...

The Initial Friend E
''The'' () is a grammatical article in English, denoting persons or things already mentioned, under discussion, implied or otherwise presumed familiar to listeners, readers, or speakers. It is the definite article in English. ''The'' is the most frequently used word in the English language; studies and analyses of texts have found it to account for seven percent of all printed English-language words. It is derived from gendered articles in Old English which combined in Middle English and now has a single form used with pronouns of any gender. The word can be used with both singular and plural nouns, and with a noun that starts with any letter. This is different from many other languages, which have different forms of the definite article for different genders or numbers. Pronunciation In most dialects, "the" is pronounced as (with the voiced dental fricative followed by a schwa) when followed by a consonant sound, and as (homophone of pronoun ''thee'') when followed by a v ...
