''Live and Loud!!'' and ''Live and Rockin are series of live albums released by the British label Link Records. The label started releasing live albums by punk bands under the name ''Live and Loud!!'' in 1987 and released them through 1992. In 1989, the label started releasing live albums by rockabilly/psychobilly Psychobilly is a rock music fusion genre that fuses elements of rockabilly and punk rock. Keith Ferguson (July 23, 1946 – April 29, 1997) was an American bass guitarist, best remembered as a member of the blues rock band, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, based in Austin, Texas. Ferguson received several awards for his musicianship. Biography Ferguson was born July 23, 1946, and raised in the 'Sexto' – the Sixth Ward of Houston Texas, where he graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1964. In 1969 he joined "Sunnyland Special", a blues band with Angela Strehli and Lewis Cowdrey. They recorded a 45rpm single. In 1972 he joined "Black Kangaroo" with guitarist Peter Kaukonen, and toured with them. In 1974 he played in the "Nightcrawlers" together with Stevie Ray Vaughan. 4 Skins
The 4-Skins are an English working-class Oi! band from the East End of London, England. Originally composed of Gary Hodges (vocals), 'Hoxton' Tom McCourt (guitar), Steve 'H' Hamer ( bass) and John Jacobs (drums), the group was formed in 1979 and disbanded in 1984 – although new line-ups formed in 2007 and 2008. Many of their songs dealt with violent topics, but the band has claimed they were discussing the realities of inner city life, not promoting violence. Other 4-Skins song topics include police harassment, political corruption, war and unemployment. Career The band members first met each other through mutual interest in football or in bands such as Sham 69 and Menace. Condemned 84
Condemned 84 are an English Oi! band. According to their website, the band was formed in 1980 as Criminal Tendencies, changing their name in 1983 to Condemned, and in 1984 to Condemned 84. In 1986 one of their concerts turned into a riot. Earlier in the event there had been performances by several other Oi! bands, including The Business and Vicious Rumours, which drew a number of skinheads. Following the concert, some attendees attacked vendors, caterers and security staff. The concert itself had not been organized by Condemned 84. They are often confused with their contemporaries Combat 84 due to the similar band names and both bands having released albums on the same label, Rock-O-Rama. The Polecats
The Polecats are an English rockabilly band formed at the end of the 1970s. Career The band formed in 1977 in north London. The original line-up was Tim Worman (a.k.a. Tim Polecat, vocalist), Martin "Boz" Boorer (guitarist and vocalist), Phil Bloomberg (bassist), and Chris Hawkes (drummer) who originally played under the name "Cult Heroes". Finding difficulty persuading promoters to book them on the rockabilly circuit with a name sounding "too punk", they adopted Hawkes' suggested band name, the Polecats. Hawkes was later replaced by Neil Rooney, who was subsequently replaced by John Buck. The Polecats played rockabilly with a "punk sense of anarchy and helped revive the genre for a new generation in the early '80s."
