Svatopluk Innemann
Svatopluk Innemann (18 February 1896 – 30 October 1945) was a Czechs, Czech film director, cinematographer, screenwriter, film editor and actor. He was one of the pioneers of Czech cinema. Biography and works Innemann, was a son of the Czech director Rudolf Innemann and opera singer Ludmila Lvová-Innemannová. He was born in Slovenia during their engagement, but was raised in Prague, where he studied to be a pork butcher. Around 1918 he became interested in film, and began to work as a camera operator. As cameraman, he co-created his first film with Otto Heller. From 1919 he worked independently. Innemann's early career was varied; he was involved in operettas, comedy, comedies and melodramas, short films and documentaries, often as cameraman. Antonín Jan Frič (in German: Anton Johann Fritsch, 30 June 1832 – 15 November 1913) was a Czech paleontologist, biologist and geologist, living during the Austria-Hungary era. Professor at the Charles University and later became director of the National Museum in Prague. He became famous for his contributions on the field of Permo - Carboniferous ecosystems. He also became known for finding fossils once attributed to dinosaurs - ''Albisaurus albinus'' and ''Ponerosteus exogyrarum'' and so far the only pterosaur known from the Czech Republic, ''Cretornis hlavaci''. The pterosaur was small with a wingspan of about 1.5 m and lived in the Turonian. The first true dinosaur known from the Czech Republic was discovered 90 years after Frič's death (in 2003). Karel Hruška
Karel Hruška (14 June 1891 – 17 October 1966) was a Czechoslovak tenor, radio personality, and actor of the stage and film. He was an unusual singer for his day in that he recorded and performed both classical and popular music. Possessing a great comic talent, he specialized in creating character parts on the opera stage. He was a much loved Principál komediantů in Bedřich Smetana's ''The Bartered Bride'', notably portraying the role a total of 855 times during his career. Biography Born in Plzeň, Hruška studied singing with Josef Branzovský before making his professional opera debut as Beppe in Ruggero Leoncavallo's ''Pagliacci'' at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň in 1911. He was committed to that opera house for the next eight years.
