Main roster On May 5, head coach Jonas Kazlauskas published the extended 25–player main roster. The list did not included two long-time national team players: Simas Jasaitis and Kšyštof Lavrinovič. Lithuania Men's National Basketball Team
The Lithuania men's national basketball team ( lt, Lietuvos nacionalinė vyrų krepšinio rinktinė) represents Lithuania in international basketball competitions. They are controlled by the Lithuanian Basketball Federation, the governing body for basketball in Lithuania. Despite Lithuania's small size, with a population of less than 3 million, the country's devotion to basketball has made them a traditional force of the sport in Europe. The Lithuanian national team won the last EuroBasket tournaments prior to World War II, in 1937 and 1939. The 1939 team was led by Frank Lubin, who helped popularize basketball in the country and was called the "grandfather of Lithuanian basketball". Following the country's annexation by the Soviet Union during the war, Lithuanian players frequently formed the core of the Soviet national team. Linas Kleiza
Linas Kleiza (; born January 3, 1985) is a Lithuanian professional basketball executive and former player. Standing at , he played at the small forward and power forward positions. In 2010, he was the Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer Trophy winner and a member of the All-EuroLeague First Team. Kleiza represented the senior Lithuanian national basketball team in international competitions. He led them to a bronze medal in the 2010 FIBA World Championship, and was chosen to the All-Tournament Team. Rokas Giedraitis
Rokas Giedraitis (born August 16, 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Baskonia of the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. He plays at the small forward position. Professional career In 2013, Giedraitis was named Finals MVP of the NKL after scoring 26 points and leading his team to title. He then signed with BC Šiauliai club in which his father played his whole career. After continuing his solid playing, Giedraitis was later signed by the Lithuanian powerhouse Lietuvos rytas Vilnius and joined it in 2015. Marius Runkauskas
Marius Runkauskas (born May 20, 1986) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Gargždai-SC of the National Basketball League (NKL). He plays primarily at the shooting guard position, but he can also play point guard, if needed. Early years Runkauskas played in the Lithuanian Pupils Basketball League (MKL), for the V. Chomičius basketball school. Professional career Runkauskas started his professional basketball career in the Klaipėda, NKL (Lithuanian 2nd Division) team, Nafta-Uni-Laivitė, in 2003. Darjuš Lavrinovič ( pl, Dariusz Ławrynowicz, born 1 November 1979) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for the BC Vytis of the National Basketball League. He is 2.12m (6' 11½") in height. Edgaras Ulanovas (born January 7, 1992) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Žalgiris Kaunas of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague. BC Neptūnas
Basketball Club Neptūnas ( lt, Krepšinio klubas Neptūnas), commonly known as Neptūnas or Neptūnas Klaipėda, is a Lithuanian professional basketball team based in Klaipėda, Lithuania. The club participates in the Lithuanian Basketball League and internationally in the Champions League. Mindaugas Girdžiūnas (born 20 January 1989) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player currently playing for BC Neptūnas, Neptūnas Klaipėda.
