Lithuanian National Olympic Committee
The Lithuanian National Olympic Committee ( lt, Lietuvos tautinis olimpinis komitetas, ''LTOK'') is the National Olympic Committee representing Lithuania. History Lithuania's national Olympic committee was established and recognized in 1924. In the same year LTOK sent its first delegation to the 1924 Summer Olympics. During Soviet Union occupation time LTOK was disestablished. At 1988 movement for freedom times there was offered to restore national committee. The badminton men's singles tournament at the 2015 European Games took place from 22 to 28 June. Competition format The singles tournaments will be played with 32 participants, initially playing in Round-robin tournament, eight groups of four, before the top two from each group qualify for a 16-player single-elimination tournament, knock-out stage. Ovidijus Varanauskas (born February 23, 1991) is a professional Lithuanian basketball player for Saint-Vallier Basket Drôme of the LNB Pro B. He plays the point guard position. Akvilė Stapušaitytė (born 25 March 1986) is a Lithuanian badminton player. She was born in Tauragė, Lithuanian SSR. Career Stapušaitytė won the Lithuanian National Badminton Championships in 2006–2014. Lithuania Open title winner. Kęstutis Navickas (born January 13, 1984) is a badminton player from Lithuania. He competed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Navickas was the bronze medalist at the 2015 Baku European Games in the men's singles event. Currently Navickas serves as Head of Coaches Council in Lithuanian Badminton Federation.
