Ekiti State
Ekiti State ( yo, Ìpínlẹ̀ Èkìtì) is a state in southwestern Nigeria, bordered to the north by Kwara State, to the northeast by Kogi State, to the south and southeast by Ondo State, and to the west by Osun State. FC Robo Queens is a women's association football club based in Mushin Lagos State, Nigeria and a member of the Nigerian Women Football League (NWFL) and have competed in the Nigeria Women Premier League, the highest division for women association football in the country. Through FC Robo Queens, the club has contributed immensely to the women’s game in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large having produced several talented players for the Nigerian national team and a host of professional women clubs across the globe. Osun Babes F.C. (formerly Comfort Queens F.C. and Oyinlola Queens F.C.) is a football club based in Osogbo, Osun State. It was founded in 1995 under the military rule of Anthony Udofia. They participate in the elite division of female football league system in Nigeria. In 2016, the government denied any plan of selling the club to private investors. History The club was founded as Comfort Queens F.C. in 1995. It was later renamed to FSP Obi Babes F.C.. The running of the club was terminated by year 2000.
