After province, prefecture, and county-level divisions, township-level divisions constitute the formal fourth-level administrative divisions of the PRC. There are a total of 1,356 such divisions in Zhejiang, divided into 375 subdistricts, 670 towns, 293 townships, 4 ethnic towns and 14 ethnic townships, the last two types designated for the She people.
