Manhao
Manhao () is a town in Gejiu County-level city of Yunnan Province of China. History Located on the Red River, Manhao was a transhipment point of some significance prior to construction of the Kunming–Hai Phong Railway in the early 20th century, as the shortest route between Kunming and French Indochina ran through it. Manhao was considered the head of small-boat (junk, or ''wupan'' 五版) navigation on the Red River; so Yunnan's products such as tin would be brought to Manhao by pack mules, where they would be loaded to boats. In those days, to travel from Hai Phong (which was the closest sea port to Kunming) to Kunming, one would need 28 days: it involved 16 days of travel by steamer and then a small boat up the Red River to Manhao (), and then 12 days overland () to Kunming. Luoji Township, Shangri-La
Luoji Township () is a township in northwestern Yunnan province, Southwest China. It is under the administration of Shangri-La County, the seat of which lies to the west. Its seat is the village of Luoji (洛吉村), connected by road to Zhongdian and the villages of Jiulong (九龙村) and Niru (尼汝村), the other major villages in the township. Other villages of note include Mushengtu, Laohuofang, and Duiwoluo. The township covers an area of and is semi mountainous, with the mountainous areas and heavier rainfall to the northwest. Its highest point is Mount Nengnabu () near Niru, and the lowest point is at the Jinsha River () and there is an estimated total of 72 peaks in the township. Kunyang Subdistrict
Kunyang Subdistrict () is a subdistrict and the administrative center of Jinning District, Yunnan, China. It is situated southwest of Dianchi (Dian Lake), with a resident population of 83,500 within its total area of 119.79 square kilometres. Until 2016, Kunyang was a town, and the county seat of Jinning County.
