Jarogo Waterfall also known as Jarogo Banda Waterfall is a waterfall located in Matta Tehsil in Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the Province of Pakistan. It is also known as the highest waterfall of Pakistan. It is about from Matta Tehsil and from Mingora. Etymology The word Jarogo means broom in Pashto but its history goes back to the ancient times of the Hindu Shahi period in Swat. Swat Museum
Swat Museum is a museum located in Mingora, on the Mingora and Saidu road in Swat District, province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. History The museum was conceived in 1959 under the aegis of the Italian Archaeological Mission to Swat and the Wali of Swat to contain his personal collection of artifacts. It was later expanded with the assistance of the Japanese government, but was badly damaged in the Kashmir earthquake of 2005. With the war between the Pakistan government and Taliban in 2007, the museum was closed and its contents were moved to Taxila, this proved lucky as a bomb exploded nearby in February 2008 killing many and damaging the museum. The 2,700 objects were returned to the museum in July 2011, and a new seismic-resistant museum was opened on December 11, 2014. Utror, also spelt Atror, is a valley located in the Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is surrounded by snow clad mountains, green pastures and waterfalls. Usho
Usho (also spelled Ushu) is a village in Usho Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is situated from Kalam and km from Mingora, at the height of 2,300 meters (7,550 feet). It is accessible through a non metalled road from Kalam by jeeps only. Usho is known for its beautiful cloudy and rainy forest. Tourist attraction Mahodand lake is located from there. Matiltan is a valley in Pakistan about 11 km away from Kalam. It has large glaciers, thick forests and lofty mountain peaks. The tallest peak of Falak Sar mountain can be seen from it. Marghuzar
Marghuzar, or Marghazar is a hill station located in the Swat District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, and is 13 kilometers away from Saidu Sharif. Marghuzar, translated as "green land", contains green valleys, cold springs, and mountains, including the Elum Ghar mountain. In 1940, the then Wali of Swat, Miangul Abdul Wadud, decided to build a summer residence there for himself which became the summer capital of Swat. The palace was named Sufed Mahal, translated as The White Palace. The palace has since been converted into a hotel. Marghuzar has a 200-year-old colossal chinar tree, which serves as a canopy for visitors. There is also a middle school and one primary school for boys and girls each, but there aren't any hospitals or clinics. Queen Elizabeth II visited Marghuzar in 1961 and stayed there for three days. Malam Jabba (also Maalam Jabba, Urdu: مالم جبہ) is a Hill Station and ski resort in the Hindu Kush mountain range nearly 40 km from Saidu Sharif in Swat Valley, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. The Gabral Valley is a valley in the Swat District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. It is located in the south slopes of the westernmost end of the Himalayas.
