KTM Museum
The KTM Museum ( ms, Muzium KTM) is a planned museum in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia in the former Johor Bahru Railway Station building. History The museum was originally constructed as the Johor Bahru Railway Station ( ms, Stesen Keretapi Johor Bahru) in 1909. On 21 October 2010, it was closed and replaced by Johor Bahru Sentral railway station located adjacent to it. The old railway station was then turned into the KTM Museum, but never open for public. Mount Lambak
Mount Lambak ( ms, Gunung Lambak) is an inselberg in Kluang District, Johor, Malaysia. The summit is 510 m above sea level. Gunung Lambak is the Hausberg of Kluang. Mount Lambak Recreational Forest It has been developed as a recreational and tourist attraction called ''Mount Lambak Recreational Forest''. Pathways and wooden bridges make it relatively easy to climb to the summit, and a picnic spot at the base of the mountain has car parking, benches, a small children's playground and toilets. There is also chalet accommodation, camping facilities and a swimming pool. Mammals found on Gunung Lambak include the Long-tailed macaque, Pig-tailed macaque and Dusky leaf monkey. Broadcasting mast The television station RTM completed a transmitter on Gunung Lambak in 1969 to provide good reception in Kluang. Mount Belumut
Mount Belumut ( ms, Gunung Belumut), standing at , is a mountain located in Kluang District, Johor, Malaysia. For the average climber, the climb to the summit takes four to six hours and the return to the foot (by the same route) takes three to four hours. Before reaching the summit of Gunung Belumut, climbers will first pass by a 'false summit', where overnight camping is possible in fair weather conditions. From the 'false summit', it's about half-an-hour's trek to the summit. A huge boulder, named the Crown Rock, sits on the summit. The boulder got its name because it looks like a giant crown. Due to its popularity, some parts of the trail have been badly eroded by tourists. The campsite is also a bit dirty, as some climbers have left litter behind. To get to Gunung Belumut, one has to get to Kluang, and take a cab from the bus terminal to Belumut (or Gunung Lumut as it is known locally). Aur Island
The Aur Island ( ms, Pulau Aur) is an island in Mersing District, Johor, Malaysia. It lies about east of Mersing Town and is part of the Johor Marine Park. Its corals, lagoons and offshore pools make it a tourist attraction. It has for many years also been a frequent stopover point for fishermen. There is also a smaller island close by, Dayang Island, which is separated from Aur Island by a narrow channel of about width at the narrowest point. Both islands are home to Singaporean diving companies, divers reach the island by chartered boats from Mersing or Singapore. The Tanjung Balau Fishermen Museum ( ms, Muzium Nelayan Tanjung Balau) is a museum in Tanjung Balau, Kota Tinggi District, Johor, Malaysia about fishermen. History The construction of the museum began on 20 August 1990 and completed on 8 July 1992 with a total cost of MYR1.48 million which consisted of one main building. In 1997, a souvenir shop was built to be part of the museum. In 2005, the museum was upgraded to include three new galleries.
