Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre
Dingles Fairground Museum, formerly known as Dingles Steam Village and Fairground Heritage Centre, is a museum that features a collection of historical fairground rides, equipment, and other memorabilia. Hidden Valley Discovery Park
Hidden Valley Discovery Park is a family-run visitor attraction near the town of Launceston, Cornwall, England, UK. Founded in 1994 by Pete Jones, as a simple treasure hunt and play area, the park has expanded to include a "Forbidden Mansion" with mazes and team treasure hunts. It also includes a gauge miniature railway system around the site, encouraging 11,000 visitors each year. History The park was founded in 1994 as Tredidon Trails, originally just including a treasure hunt and children's play area. Harbour Park has rides open seasonally and is still known by some locals by its former name Smarts, is an amusement park in the coastal resort of Littlehampton, West Sussex, England. Gulliver's World is a theme park located in Warrington, England. It consists of the themed areas Land, Gully Town, and Safari Kingdom. The park's attractions were designed for children between the ages of 2 and 13. Splash Zone and Blast Arena are two indoor attractions located next to the main theme park. Gulliver's Land
Gulliver's Land is a children's theme park in Milton Keynes, England. It opened in 1999 and is the third park to be opened by Gulliver's. (The other two parks are Gulliver's World and Gulliver's Kingdom). The park has been designed especially for families. The Adventurers Village is now part of the resort, providing themed accommodation and short break packages. Gulliver's Land resort includes Splash Zone, Blast Arena, The SFEAR and Dinosaur and Farm Park. Gulliver's Land features a number of classic theme park rides, attractions and shows for children aged 2 to 13. A JCB Zone was introduced in 2017, launched in partnership with JCB. Gulliver's Kingdom
Gulliver's Kingdom (also known as Gulliver's Matlock Bath) is a theme park aimed at children aged 3-13 in the Derbyshire town of Matlock Bath, England. The park was founded in 1978 by Ray and Hilary Phillips as a model village, before later expanding to include a small train and some second hand rides. Gulliver's Kingdom is close to the site of the Victorian Switchback rollercoaster ride, after which the theme park's main rollercoaster was eventually named. In the early 1980s, a hotel and chalets were built. In 2017, the themed accommodation area was rebranded as the Explorers Retreat. The Philips Family still own Gulliver's Kingdom in the present day. Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach
The Pleasure Beach Great Yarmouth is an amusement park located in the seaside resort town of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, on the English east coast. It opened in 1909. The largest and most popular ride at the park is the wooden Roller Coaster which opened in 1932. There are also around thirty other large rides at the park, as well as children's entertainment, amusement arcades, catering facilities, sweet shops and ice cream parlours. History In 1909 Charles B. Cochran applied to the local council to lease an area of sand dunes on the beach to develop an amusement park. Funland Hayling Island
Funland Hayling Island is an amusement park on Hayling Island, near Portsmouth, England. Funland Hayling Island contains 18 rides, an amusement arcade (as well as various independently operating arcades nearby), Diane's Diner, a kids' play area and a pirate-themed golf course. Flamingo Land Resort
Flamingo Land is a theme park, zoo, and resort located in Kirby Misperton, North Yorkshire, England. Opened in 1959, it has been owned and operated by the Gibb family since 1978. History Flamingo Land Resort was established in 1959 when a cinema entrepreneur, Edwin Pentland Hick, sold his cinema chain and used the funds to purchase a bankrupt country club to use the land for a zoo. The site, which occupied nine acres, was initially called ''The Yorkshire Zoological Gardens''. A colony of flamingos were among the first animals to be housed on site. In 1963, the gardens became home to the UK's first captive bottlenose dolphins – one of whom was given the name Sooty after the children's TV puppet. It was founded in 1976 as the Cornwall Aero Park by Douglas Kingsford Hale MBE. History Flambards first opened in 1976 under the name of 'Cornwall Aero Park'.
