Sports Commentator
In sports broadcasting, a sports commentator (also known as sports announcer or sportscaster) provides a real-time commentary of a game or event, usually during a live broadcast, traditionally delivered in the historical present tense. Radio was the first medium for sports broadcasts, and radio commentators must describe all aspects of the action to listeners who cannot see it for themselves. In the case of televised sports coverage, commentators are usually presented as a voiceover, with images of the contest shown on viewers' screens and sounds of the action and spectators heard in the background. Television commentators are rarely shown on screen during an event, though some networks choose to feature their announcers on camera either before or after the contest or briefly during breaks in the action. James Brown (sportscaster)
James Talmadge Brown (born February 25, 1951) is an American sportscaster known for being the studio host of ''The James Brown Show'' and ''The NFL Today'' on CBS Sports. He is also a Special Correspondent for CBS News. He is additionally known for serving as the former host of Fox Sports' NFL pregame show ''Fox NFL Sunday'' for eleven years. Early life James Brown was born on February 25, 1951, in Washington, D.C. to John and Maryann Brown. He attended high school at DeMatha Catholic High School, and later graduated from Harvard University with a degree in American Government. Lee Corso
Lee Richard Corso (born August 7, 1935) is an American sports broadcaster and football analyst for ESPN and a former coach. He has been a featured analyst on ESPN's '' College GameDay'' program since its inception in 1987. Corso served as the head football coach at the University of Louisville from 1969 to 1972, at Indiana University Bloomington from 1973 to 1982, and at Northern Illinois University in 1984, compiling a career college football coaching record of 73–85–6. He was the head coach for the Orlando Renegades of the United States Football League in 1985, tallying a mark of 5–13. Mark Andrew Chapman (nicknamed Chappers) (born 11 October 1973) is a British television and radio presenter who, mainly working in sport, presents ''Match of the Day 2'' on BBC One and Sky Sports' coverage of the EFL Cup.
