Ahmad Muzani
Ahmad Muzani (born in Tegal Regency, Tegal, 15 July 1968) is an entrepreneur and politician from the Great Indonesia Movement Party. He is the Secretary (title), Secretary General of the Great Indonesia Movement Party and a member of the People's Representative Council, House of Representatives (Indonesia). Nahdlatul Ulama
Nahdlatul Ulama (, , NU) is an Islamic organization in Indonesia. Its membership numbered over 40 million in 2023, making it the largest Islamic organization in the world. NU is also a charitable body funding schools and hospitals as well as organizing communities to help alleviate poverty. The NU was founded in 1926 by the ''ulema'' and merchants to defend both traditionalist Islamic practices (in accordance with Shafi'i school) and its members' economic interests. NU's religious views are considered "traditionalist" in that it accepts local cultural traditions that do not conflict with Islamic law (in contrast to Islamic fundamentalist groups). He was educated at the "Ardjoena" ''Hollandsch-Inlandsche School'' in Bandung, graduating in 1938. Daryatmo
Daryatmo, also spelled Darjatmo (18 June 1925 – 6 December 1992) was an Indonesian military figure and served as Speaker of the People's Representative Council and Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly from 1978–1982. Daryatmo received military education at Army Command and Staff College, and then further military education abroad at the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, United States, and education at Suslapa, Seskoad in Bandung. As Chief of Staff for Operations on 17 August, Daryatmo led the suppression of the PRRI rebellion in Sumatra under General Ahmad Yani. In 1978, Daryatmo became Speaker of the People's Representative Council and People's Consultative Assembly replacing Adam Malik, who became Vice President. Adam is the name given in Genesis 1–5 to the first human. Adam is the first human-being aware of God, and features as such in various belief systems (including Judaism, Christianity, Gnosticism and Islam).
