Road routes in Queensland assist drivers navigating roads throughout the state, by identifying important through-routes. Queensland is in the process of converting to an alphanumeric route numbering system, with a letter denoting the importance and standard of the route. The previous shield-based system consisted of various route types – national highways, national routes, and state routes – with each type depicted by a different route marker design. Some routes have been converted to the alphanumeric system, while other routes are being maintained as shield-based routes – but with signs designed to be subsequentially retrofitted with a replacement alphanumeric route. Loganholme is a suburb in the City of Logan, Queensland, Australia. In the , Loganholme had a population of 6,303 people. The majority of the land is used for houses while it has range of other uses. Legacy Way
The M5 Legacy Way (formerly Northern Link Tunnel) is a long tunnel linking the Western Freeway at Toowong and the Inner City Bypass at Kelvin Grove, Brisbane. The project consisted of two bored tunnels carrying two motorway grade lanes of traffic in each direction. It opened on 25 June 2015 and is the fourth of five components of Brisbane City Council's TransApex Project. The tunnels will be tolled for approximately 45 years. The Environmental Impact Statement was released for public comment in September 2008 and approved in April 2010. Construction commenced in April 2011 with original plans to open the tunnel to traffic in late 2014. Western Freeway (Brisbane)
The Western Freeway is a freeway in western Brisbane that runs from Milton Road in Toowong to the western side of Indooroopilly where the freeway becomes the M5 Centenary Motorway. The freeway bears the symbol and forms part of Metroad 5. There is one interchange, at Indooroopilly onto Moggill Road. A bicycle path runs the length of the freeway, allowing commuting to Toowong and onto Brisbane by bicycle. Options are currently being investigated in to a possible Kenmore Bypass. This would connect with the M5 along the existing preserved corridor to Chuwar, Queensland. This preserved corridor was identified in the 1960s for a future freeway.
