Progressive House
Progressive house is a subgenre of house music. The progressive house style emerged in the early 1990s. It initially developed in the United Kingdom as a natural progression of American and European house music of the late 1980s.Gerard, Morgan; Sidnell, Jack. Danny Howells
Danny Howells (born 24 November 1970) is an English producer and DJ. His music is often described as progressive house, though he prefers to associate more with tech house and is sometimes described simply as "deepsexyfuturistictechfunkouse". At performances, he is well known to interact personally with the audience. Howells has mixed several albums for Global Underground in addition to his ''Nocturnal Frequencies'' series. Howells is also a member of the duo Science Department with Dick Trevor, which has produced the singles "Breathe" and "Persuasion"/"Repercussion" as well as remixes for artists such as BT. Dannic
Daan Romers (; born 10 November 1985), better known by his stage name Dannic (stylized: DɅNNIC), is a Dutch DJ and EDM producer. He is known for his work in collaborations with Hardwell, Dyro, Sick Individuals, and publishes his music through the record label Revealed Recordings and his own label Fonk Recordings. As of 2013, he has a radio show called ''Front of House''. In DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs, he is placed #70. In 2015, he founded his own label, Fonk Recordings to support up-and-coming artists with their works and released tracks under the label name in 2016. Daddy's Groove are an Italian house band formed by Carlo Grieco and Peppe Folliero. Based in Naples, Daddy's Groove have co-produced and remixed for artists such as Axwell, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Sia, Nicki Minaj, Celine Dion, Bruno Mars, Sean Paul and Usher, among others. They have released singles alongside Bob Sinclar, Kryder and Tom Staar and scored several top 10 positions on Beatport. In 2016, Daddy's Groove entered the '' DJ Mag'' top 100. Dada Life
Dada Life are a Swedish DJ duo formed in 2006, which consists of Olle Cornéer and Stefan Engblom. They have released three albums, a number of singles and remixes and one compilation. The duo had early chart success in Belgium and the Netherlands, while their second album ''The Rules of Dada'' reached the ''Billboard'' 200. They are known for their humour during their live performances, while their name is a homage to the absurdist movement of the early twentieth century. They have released two audio plugins programmed by Tailored Noise: Endless Smile, a drop editor plugin and Sausage Fattener, a saturator. John Digweed
Thomas John Digweed (born 1 January 1967) is a British DJ and record producer. ''DJ Magazine'' voted him World No 1 DJ in 2001. As well as achieving success as a solo act, he has collaborated with Sasha as Sasha & John Digweed, and with Nick Muir as Bedrock. Biography Digweed began DJing at the age of 15, and made a name for himself in his home town of Hastings, where he put on successful club nights, the most famous of which were his successful raves on Hastings Pier, where the likes of Carl Cox and The Prodigy performed. His breakthrough came in 1993, when he sent a mixtape demo to Geoff Oakes, founder of the Renaissance nightclub in Mansfield, who played it to fellow DJ Alexander Coe (aka Sasha). Nicholas Bracegirdle (born 28 February 1971), known professionally as Chicane, is an English musician, composer, songwriter, and record producer. Among his works are singles "Offshore", an Ibiza trance anthem included in many compilations in both chill-out and dance versions; " Saltwater", which featured vocals by Clannad member Máire Brennan, and the UK number-one hit "Don't Give Up", featuring vocals by Bryan Adams, which also became a top ten hit on singles charts across Europe and Australia. Alberto Bertapelle, better known by his stage name Brainbug, was an Italian symphonic electronic trance music producer and guitarist from Ceggia, Italy. He died during a concert in November 2016 at 57 years old. Early life Alberto Bertapelle is from Ceggia, a town in the province of Venice. Since the age of 13, he played in many local bands as a guitarist and as a keyboardist. He taught sound engineering at a musical academy he started, Support Music Academy. Øistein Johan Eide (; born 10 September 1974 in Bergen), better known by his stage name Boom Jinx, is a Norwegian music producer and DJ. Career In 1989, Boom Jinx started making music with SoundTracker developed for the Commodore Amiga computer. In 1991, he was hired as a freelancer to create music for a US game developer. In 2005, after a career in advertising, video games, television and film, he turned to dance music. Boom Jinx's track "Manipulator" was featured as "a hot new track" on BBC Radio 1, and was licensed to the soundtrack of the television show '' CSI: Miami''.
