Qween Amor
Qween Amor (born 1988) is a performance artist who predominantly utilizes public space for her performances. Amor seeks to "inspire more artists to go out and display their art in protest; it's a liberation movement to embrace one's own freedom". Since 2013, Qween Amor has been performing in New York City. Qween Amor reports going to court five times yearly to face charges for playing music too loud in the streets. Amor refuses to pay fines and always persuades the judge to dismiss charges. Amor has never been charged with indecent exposure. In December 2012, Qween Amor was arrested while performing for a group of Black Hebrew Israelites in Washington DC. Intersex Human Rights
Intersex people are born with sex characteristics, such as chromosomes, gonads, or genitals, that, according to the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, "do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies." Intersex people face Social stigma, stigmatisation and discrimination from birth, particularly when an intersex variation is visible. In some countries (particularly in Africa and Asia) this may include infanticide, abandonment and the stigmatization of families. Mothers in East Africa may be accused of witchcraft, and the birth of an intersex child may be described as a curse. Intersex infants and children, such as those with ambiguous outer genitalia, may be surgically and/or hormonally altered to fit perceived more socially acceptable sex characteristics. Ruth Baldacchino
Ruth Baldacchino (born 1979) is an LGBT and intersex activist, former Co-Secretary General of the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA World), and Senior Program Officer for the first intersex human rights fund. Education Baldacchino holds an M.A. in Women's Studies from University College Dublin and a B.A. (Honours) in Sociology from University of Malta. They lecture Queer Studies and Sociology at the University of Malta. Activism and career Baldacchino has previously served on the boards of the Malta Gay Rights Movement, IGLYO and ILGA-Europe and also serves as senior program officer for the first intersex human rights fund. Leo Baker (formerly Lacey Baker; born November 24, 1991) is a goofy-footed American professional skateboarder from Covina, California, now based in New York City. Baker is transgender and non-binary, and uses he/him and they/them pronouns. Early life Baker was born in Covina, California to Donna Baker and guitarist Marshall Rohner. Alejandra Ghersi Rodríguez (born 14 October 1989), known professionally as Arca, is a Venezuelan musician and record producer based in Barcelona, Spain.
